“My favorite place to eat pho in KC, hands down. This visit I ventured away from pho and got a clear noodle soup that did not disappoint. I rate my soups at restaurants by how much I have to add to it and at Vietnam Cafe, I never add anything. This will be my spot anytime I'm in KC. Give them a try for sure, they won't let you down!!“
“I’m new to town and this place is right by my apartment! I absolutely love it! The spring rolls are my absolute favorite! So filling! The pho is large enough to share with another person! Generous portions and great prices! Will definitely go back!“
“The grilled pork banh mi was a disappointment. While the filling itself was tasty, the size was smaller than what I'm used to from other places, making it feel more like an appetizer than a meal. The vermicelli, was authentic and delicious. We also tried an off-menu item, Mì Quảng, which was decent. The Passion Fruit Boba we had was standard. Service was minimal, and the food took about 15-20 minutes to come out.“
“One of the best places in Kansas City to get pho. My favorite is the rice dishes because they come with a little bowl of broth and provide the perfect balance of flavors and textures . The pho is really good as well! Plenty of meat and toppings . Love the spring rolls. They are so sweet, and treated my family and I like family.“
“Honestly probably my go-to place for Banh Mi nowadays. KC doesn't shine particularly well in this category, but this place is pretty good. I think the chicken banh mi is the best here, as the chicken absorbs their special sauce so well, making it the most flavorful out of all their Banh Mi. They also have boba and korean corn dogs which is a nice touch to keep the place more on trend. The convenience of being able to order online is very nice as well.“
“I’ve been getting the seafood pho to go with extra spice about once or twice a month recently. It has a nice broth and the chili paste on the side adds the perfect heat and flavor. I really like the seafood they include in this dish. They are always timely on pickup and it’s still very hot.Vegetarian options: Veggie broth if wanted“
“This has been my favorite place to go for a banh mi for years now. The owners are lovely, and the food comes out perfectly every time.Recently, I went in for my usual, but for the first time, got a fried egg added to it. I'm glad I got it to go, because when I finally tore into it, I did so in an admittedly graceless and near trancelike fashion, focused on nothing but the quickly vanishing sandwich clutched in a thin paper sheet. In the minutes after finishing it, I sat there for a little bit, doing nothing else, as if restarting from having been factory reset; I only half-joke that it fixed something about me.It has been two days since then. All I can think about is that sandwich. I will be going in for another soon. I will be adding the fried egg. I recommend, insist, even, that you do the same.“
“Great rooms and decor throughout. Pretty awesome. They allow smoking on the casino floor...yuck! Otherwise, it is a great place to spend your money. I would definitely go back. No valet parking, so pack your bags in a wheeled suitcase. Drinks are pricey. Security seemed top notch“
“The food was amazing, better than most small Chinese places in the area. It had the best flavor and everything was hot. They had awesome Thai teas too! Our server was very nice and fun. He took excellent care of us. The atmosphere was bright and pleasant. The only downside was the area smelt a bit Smokey but other than that this place is great!“
“Incredible. The best Vietnamese food in KC - imo ?This is one of those hole in the wall spots that really surprises you in the best way.I've had the pho on numerous occasions and it is absolutely pho-nomenal ? broth is always so flavorful & bright. They have chili oil that adds such warmth to the dish. It's always clean & the service is always on top of it.This is one of those places I go to feast away the stress of all the adulting woes...lol“
