Zocalo is one of my favorite places to go for happy hour. Located in the Plaza, you can enjoy $5 cocktails, $4 select beer, $12 daily tequila flight, and $6 margaritas & mules. There are 10 appetizer/food options all under $10 each. My favorite is the 3 "mini" tacos for $5.95 (I ordered the Chicken Tinga tacos). I also loveeee to order the Queso Fundido. First time at this location during the afternoon on Saturday and though it wasn't busy service started off a bit slow, but then became more consistent. Went back for a second time at 10am on a Sunday and it started picking up around 11. There is a patio with limited seating, I'm not sure if dogs are allowed because we called ahead and someone said yes, then the next time it was something different. This place was so highly recommended by people that we talked with that we had to give it a try during our visit. We made reservations and arrived right on time...to a host telling the people in front of us without reservations that it would be a 10 minute wait.
