I love this place and based on most of my experiences I would give them a 5. However, 10 of us were there yesterday and it was very disappointing to see them move to a pepper based steak. All of our steaks were covered in pepper . You could not taste the meat because of the Pepper. Two of our steaks were tough although we ordered the ribeye. Have had this restaurant rated at 5 stars. Tonight was bad!Not busy at all, so I could see no reason for our bad experience.Service was not good! Waited forever for waitress to show up and take drink orders, took even longer to get drinks. Finally Finally to take order, forever for any food to come out. We ate out a week ago at a very expensive KC restaurant and spent stupid money. So this week, we did Longhorn. We split a ribeye, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, salad and shrimp. $85 with tip and everything tasted as good as the stupid expensive restaurant. My only critique is that the background music was a little loud, and the restaurant was a bit noisy. I live with the noisy to get this quality at this price point.
