“Went there last night for the first time. OMG. I am an avid lover of Mexican food and I have to say this was the best Mexican food I've had since I've been in Missouri. Melissa's green chili is fire?. The food was wonderful. Everything was so fresh. Her Guacamole is to die for. Jumbo Margaritas actually had alcohol in them. The sopapilla was top of the line. Everything was amazing. You gotta try this place. Prices, food, atmosphere and service was excellent. Way to go Melissa. We will definitely be back.”

The space was decorated to the nines, and every need we had leading up to and during the event was met quickly and with enthusiasm. Leah, Mary Beth, Anna, and Kuya Jojo felt like part of the family!Ambiance: Perhaps one of the most fun parts of STL Filipino Bread is how it is a "one stop shop" for items of cultural significance. I'm so thankful this place is here and helping share Filipino culture and food with the St. Louis Area!”

“Holy cow, this place was awesome. I went with a group of 7 for lunch today. It was slammed with customers but they still got our orders taken and food to us in good time. The lady taking orders was fast and efficient while also being an absolute pleasure to deal with. The rest of the staff was just as good. I got the meatball sandwich and it was truly amazing. I was full when I finished it but still disappointed when it was gone. Overall it was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back the next time I'm in St. Louis.”

“I had a great experience here! I found this restaurant through Epic Eats on Instagram. My husband and I have been trying new restaurants in our backyard. I hate going to the Southside for excellent and authentic international food. This place was HITTING. This is what we ordered:Pescado Frito – Whole Tilapia with banana chips, cabbage salad, & rice and beansDesayuno Hondureno – Honduras Breakfast (steak, eggs, plantains, & refried beans)Tacos Hondureno – (chicken tacos with toppings)Catrachitas – (chips, beans, cream, & cheese)The Tilapia was JUICY and had a fantastic flavor. I've never had real banana chips. Just the store-bought ones, and these were so delicious. I am sold. The rice and beans were so flavorful. We have Jamaican heritage, so this was appreciated. The steak was so juicy and tasted perfect. The plantains were good, moist, sweet, and just right for your taste buds. The refried beans are the best I've ever had in my lifetime. The Chips with all the toppings were terrific as well. They DID NOT disappoint. Also, the Tacos were the BEST. Those toppings were so good. We dipped our chips in what was left over. I will be coming back to this place. It is now going to be a staple for us. They are very reasonably priced, and they LOAD your plates! It's not stingy at all. Thank you guys!! Anybody who says this food and this place isn't good is LYING and a HATER!!!”

“just tried this spot for the first time. walking in the atmosphere was nice, clean and spacious. i received fast and friendly service, my food came out in under 10 minutes and was hot and fresh! my tenders were flavorful and juicy and i loved their sriracha honey aioli sauce.”

“We went to Charlie Gitto's last night for my husbands birthday and as always greeted with a smile . Our dinner was fantastic as always. It is such a joy to eat at the restaurant , the waitresses and waiters, and Hostesses are always so friendly and make you feel welcome . The manager Chris is a great manager , he is always walking thru to make sure things are running smoothly , and also lending a hand , busing tables, serving food , or anything that he can to lend a hand with . The atmosphere is so relaxing, romancing, and enjoyable. Thank you Charlie Gitto's and Crew for a great Birthday Dinner . ???”
