“Me and my husband moved up to kc from our small Missouri town years ago and this was the one place that we tried bc it was so close to our home. THE BEST FOOD and the BEST experience I’ve ever had. Any chance I get I get LC’s.”
“Hands down the BEST Crab Rangoon you'll find anywhere!! Not bland at all!! And the fried rice is amazing! They actually give you extra broccoli if you ask! Sorry but everywhere else we've tried I've never received the extra broccoli when I ask! You won't regret ordering or eating in from here!”
“So glad we found this place! Absolutely delicious food, amazing margaritas and friendly service, not to mention very reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back and try more.”
“At a gas station and has a long wait. Order at counter, get food and sit down. Prices are pretty fair. We both got a sandwich only with no sides. I got the jumbo Z-Man which was brisket, provolone and onion rings. It was very tasty. Brisket was super thin sliced. Great taste but not very smoky. Sammie got the Rocket Pig which was pulled pork and fried jalapenos. Both sandwiches were very good. I could have eaten more. I would say that smokiness wasn't very strong but I'd go back.”
“This place was amazing, the food was incredible! I recommend trying ALL the sides, they did not disappoint! The service was so good and friendly, I wish I lived closer so I could come back! So glad we went!”
“We love Scott's Kitchen! Everything we have eaten has been delicious - tacos, bowls, beef, chicken, turkey - all of it! They have a variety of heat levels so everyone can find what suits them. Staff is friendly, patient, and helpful in answering questions and serving. The temperature in the dining area is really cold (in my opinion) and the chairs are metal. If we are eating in, I need to remember to take something to sit on just to warm it up! There are outside seating options if the weather is good, as well as carryout.”
“I loved this random(but always vegan) choice of where to eat while driving through the area. The name struck me cool when it popped up on my Google search for vegan restaurants nearby. Excellent rating. Was a no brainer.Totally wowed by all the factors when I walked in, ordered, waited, and ate. The food was exceptional. Perfect. It sets an unreachable bar. I had the Frito Burrito and Buffalo Cauliflower with possibly the best Buffalo and Ranch Dips ever. Left happy full with plenty of leftovers. From one tree hugger to Tree Hugger, thank you, it was delish, I love your homey place. Y'all deserve awards.”
“Best scone I’ve ever had! Each bite was moist and flavorful! I saved the center for the end and it was the best part! Great service and ambiance too. Coffee is fantastic too.”
“Came here with a friend with little to no real expectations. We were simply looking for a new spot to chill while we catch up on "girl-talk" And Baaaaby - Wow! Hear me when I say EVERYTHING from the greeting, atmosphere, service, hospitality, FOOD and management on point!!My friend's a vegetarian so she ordered a veggie burger but wasn't a fan of the artichoke base pattie. Our waitress saw that she was only eating the fries and offered to prepare a whole new burger, substitute the pattie and add a few other fresh veggies and instantly my friend was won over.?Everything about my dish (bibimbap) was super flavorful and amazingly good!!I have yet to stop talking about my experience here I give a true 10/10Vegetarian options: Not a huge vegetarian option but the option available is delicious!”
“The best place to dine, wine and enjoy the table in the heart of "Little Italy" in Kansas City. Don't go without a reservation or be poorly dressed. It is a classic.”
“Our first time coming to this lovely place and I gotta say it was a VIBE! My boyfriend and I loved everything about Hawaiian bros and will definitely be coming back! Lin took very good care of us 10/10”
“Great place to gather or to simply come by yourself!! I was on a business trip and I was solo, but I sat at the bar and received fantastic service by Cariann (one of the bartenders) and she was nice to talk to as well. She had great recommendations and made the best experience for me by suggesting the pick 2. I was stuck between the lamb rack of ribs and the 1 huge prime rib (beef rib) but with the pick 2 you can get both, just that the lamb rack was a half rack. Both portions of meat ? was more substantial than one would think and I couldn't believe the flavor explosion in my mouth once I tasted everything!!I also had the potato salad and the baked beans which were awesome! 5 out of 5 stars! Plus, the atmosphere was so chill I had great conversations with anyone who came up to the bar. Not to forget to mention, the drinks and beer selection were great! I had one of the Casual Animal Breweries, IPA. Yummm!!Highly recommend and when I'm back and I hope to see Cariann and catch up with her. I will bring my friends and family for a great dinner! ???????”
“I love walking to this adorable cafe every time I'm in KC. Amazing coffee, food, and atmosphere. The owners and staff are all really sweet. Highly highly recommend.”
“If you've ever thought to yourself "I could go for something sweet" TWO SUGARS is a must. First thing I noticed walking in was good music. Paired with Great coffee, and what may be the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. It was worth the visit.”
“We went here expecting great BBQ and they delivered. We went here two times during our 3 day stay in KC. The first time we went we got the burnt ends with brisket, smoked chicken and ribs with mac and cheese and veggies for sides. Carrot cake for dessert. The carrot cake was not on the same level as the BBQ, but was still good.Different parts of out food unfortunately came out cold three and they fixed it right away and the manager came over to let us know how they would fix it on our bill. The service was top notch and above what I was anticipating. The second time we went for lunch time. The server was great again. The food was delicious! Highly recommend the brisket and burnt ends and the ribs! The veggies were phenomenal as well! No issues with food temp this time.Overall, I cannot wait to get BBQ there again. It was the best we have had in the city! Flavorful, moist, juicy, while not leaving a greasy feeling in your stomach. Top notch!I rate the atmosphere average because it would be helpful to have some sounds absorbers in the facility so the noise level isn’t so loud.”
“The food was fantastic. The service was good. Will be glad to eat here again. For a first time visitor it was a little confusing, not knowing what to do, but even I was able to figure it ”
“Went in for gelato and left with chocolate mousse cake, cannoli cheesecake, a lobster claw and a piece of coconut cake. Everything was absolutely delicious and can’t wait to go back!”
“Reuben was fantastic and layered with flavor. The muffuletta is also amazing and one of my favorites. Service has been fast and friendly every time. I placed my order online and it was ready as soon as I showed up without issue.”
“This place has the best Chinese food in the KC area!!!! My best friend got it recommended to here by her patient, and took me along with her. We tried every rangoon on their menu and each one is worth it. The chicken is also phenomenal and you can just taste the freshness of everything! And you can really tell it is all homemade. Definitely try it out if you have not done so. Me and my friend are definitely going to be repeat customers.”
“My favorite brewery in KC, hands down. They always brew a variety of beer and every kind they brew is so yummy! Sours, Blondes, Souts, IPA’s. Chill vibe too, and you can order food and have it delivered!”
“11/10. Incredible experience from start to finish. Food: Phenomenal. The ingredients are mainly locally sourced and the menu is Missouri farm-to-table concept essentially - SO well executed. The menu is elevated, unique & cool, yet *totally* accessible to those who may be less adventurous eaters, etc. Perfect balance. Appetizers: we had the Housemade rolls & chili butter, the smoked ricotta spread topped w/ sweet cherry & red pepper jelly w/ fried saltine crackers (my fav!), and the country ham and rice arancini - all amazing. Entrees: We had the pasta with house made Ricotta cappelletti braised Rabbit (we ordered a half-size portion, might have been my fav dish of the night!), rainbow trout, Pickled chicken thighs & tenderloins, and Pork chop. All were PERFECT, our table was raving. The cocktail menu: Delicious, we all had different house specialty cocktails and loved them all.Service: Knocked it out of the park. They were very busy and had a minor delayed start to service, and without prompting they came to our table with several beautiful, complimentary appetizers “for our trouble” for the initially slightly delayed service which was SO generous, extremely classy and unexpected. ❤️ Their waitstaff was so knowledgeable, attentive/above and beyond, and just lovely.Price: SO reasonable for the level of fine dining, quality, and portions they serve. Yes, you can get a pricey (but exquisite looking) dry-aged steak & expensive bottle of wine if you’re looking for a $$$ experience, but you can have an absolutely accessibly-priced upscale dinner here as well, easily.Highly Recommend this place for any special occasion, date night, dinner with friends, or just anytime you want a guaranteed amazing meal. Thank you to the Chef, and their whole staff! We will be back for sure.”
“I love this place so much. Cheap drinks, great performers, low key atmosphere. Cash only bar but they have an atmosphere. Be sure to watch their calendar for shows and get tickets in advance as some shows sell out early!”
“Amazing is the only word I can think of. The staff and beers are GREAT. What an amazing atmosphere and the architecture is beyond belief. Five stars does not truly rate this brewery, it deserves ten stars.”
“Me and my sweetheart were there last Saturday. He had chicken and I had the fish. Absolutely delicious! We also had drinks. The bartender and waitresses were outstanding and extremely cordial. The service is great, food great, portions great. Drinks are really good! We will be definitely coming again.”
“A typical, quick, breakfast place with the usual selection of breakfast fare except no hashbrowns offered.Service was excellent - staff asked if I was new to the area as "it's usually a local spot".Wheelchair accessibility: Normal sized doorways, however not sure if automatic doors openers were present.”
“I come here frequently after getting groceries, one lady remembers me now and knows exactly what I order. I tried something new and it was delicious, I went to reorder it today and I accidentally ordered a tea instead of a latte. I did not like the tea and they made me a new drink even though it was my fault. I love this little shop! The Brown Sugar Boba Latte is my favorite. It is a small shop in downtown, so there arent a lot of places to park, which is to be expected. Good thing I walk everywhere. :)”
“Came here for 2023/2024 Super Bowl parade and this place was awesome. It was my first time here, the people were amazing, the staff was hustling, the bathrooms were clean! Bring your friends, it’s a party!”
“Very chic, absolutely delicious. A delightful experience. Innovative. And interesting. I was frequently surprised by flavor combinations on this menu. I look forward to having more of it.”
“Best ribs I've had since Dreamland BBQ in Alabama, and even then might give em a run for their money. Soooo glad I stopped here for dinner. The baked potato casserole is pretty tasty as well. But I'm telling, those ribs... So good!”
“This place is absolutely outstanding! A hidden gem! Local owned and operated. Pizza is phenomenal and fresh. Brick oven New England style with a thin, crispy crust and plenty of toppings. The sauce is out of this world! Our server, Sharon, was the best we've ever had! She was funny, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, just all around great! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
