There are quite a number of BBQ places in the Lake of the Ozarks. I consider Half Sauced as one of the better ones.Prices are reasonable so I consider Half Sauced to be one of the best for the price. Facility is clean and atmosphere is okay but nothing exceptional. However, I have yet to have eaten table decorations so would rather pay for the food. A great, casual BBQ restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we got except for the baked beans. We were looking forward to them, but they were SO oversmoked that they were inedible to us. I am sure some people like them that way so, to each his/her own. We got the sampler platter of meats, a pork steak, spoonbread, fries, and coleslaw. We came here for lunch while Christmas shopping. My wife loves BBQ and this place was a winner! We got the Half Sauced Sampler Platter to split between the two of us with a side of fries and baked beans. There was more than enough food for the two of us! Only side note is the baked beans had a very bold smoke flavor. That will be great for some, but may be too much for others, like my wife. We will be back!
