Cashew chicken is a Springfield specialty. This place has been doing it right for decades. It’s a family favorite! Ignore the fried food calories. And please understand that the strong reviews come from customer loyalty, not from extraordinary food.
Drove to Springfield from Arkansas to get some cashew chicken and heard that Canton Inn was where we should go. We tried the cashew chicken which was great- the chicken was crispy and juicy, and the dish was served with plenty of sauce. We also ordered beef lo mein, hot and sour soup, and egg drop soup. Overall, everything was okay. The young man placing the orders was great! Some of the other staff was not the greatest.
