My husband and I took our dog on a walk from Sequiota Park and came across Galloway grill and thought we would stop in on the patio for a snack/drink. When we came in they quickly told us that dogs weren't allowed, which is absolutely fine and of course we said no problem and began to leave. As we were leaving the same blond women (manager/waitress?) that told us dogs were not allowed loudly stated "thank God they didn't pretend it was a service dog," that was directed to a group of other patrons. Totally unnecessary. There are plenty of dog friendly/patio areas in Springfield. It was my fault for assuming this was one of those places and had zero problems with leaving... but being shamed on the way out was, rude. Of course, we will never return.

Our food was great! I had the grilled salmon and grilled veggies, husband had the The Tender which is a pork tenderloin sandwich, and beer batter fries. We would both order those things again. The atmosphere outside is fun, also. It was a sunny day and not super chilly so the heaters were pleasant and the view over the creak was nice even if there were no leaves.

When "no wait" means 45 minutes to seating and 2.5 hours till your order is ready at closing and the food is just ok, it's a miss. Very mediocre, will pass in the future.

With this place I have mixed feelings. Came in here by recommendation on Google.Its a cosy atmosphere, food is good. Beer is fine, carry quite some locals on tap - like that.The lady helping me had a trainiee following and it started good. All came quick - very friendly.At the end I kept watching for them and both were in sight all the time. They were looking anywhere but never direction guests. This what I missed. After 20 mins trying I took my coat to approch them for payment, THEN they reacted. Explaination was, have a trainee here - ok fine - on issues with that. But part of the training shall be also watch out for customers, they might want something. Here the traineer needs some improvement. Tip was according to service quality.Do not get me wrong, a nice place, worth to stay. Just revise service to some extend.
