“My fiancé and I have been coming in to Sushi Village at least once a week now for about 5 months. It is our favorite place to go out to eat! We usually get sushi, but they have a wide variety of other options beyond that. Great food, staff, service, and ownership. Highly recommend!“
“I cant say enough good things. This was my first time at Momos and everything was so amazing. THE BEST SERVICE I have ever experienced. Our waitress was Mook and she was so lovely! I struggle with feeling anxious at restaurants and she made my aunt and I feel so comfortable. I am also gluten free and they have everything on the menu marked on what is gf. It's a simple thing but I dont see it often so I though I'd mention it. What wasnt marked gf, they were able to make some of the items gf with their gf soy sauce.“
“First time for Craft Sushi and will definitely be back! Loved the rice/noodle/quinoa or lettuce options for the bowls and they’re huge. Tons of fresh veg and sauce options. We tried the sushi rolls. Was skeptical about beef and apples but it totally works! The beef is AMAZING! Yum!“
“Hey bestie, you need to check this place out! The ambiance is amazing! I was on a work lunch or I would have taken photos of everything, from the fish pond at the front, bright white interior, tons of sunlight, everything was super clean, to the very nice bathrooms. Great date spot or lunch spot either way! We were recommended to get crab rangoon and the server told us they have the best rangoons in Springfield. They were very good, sitting in a flavorful sauce, that I could have spooned off the plate into my mouth, but I held back. My colleague was recommended the Mandarin Chicken, he was very happy with his decision. I ordered the tuna poke bowl, it was a lot like a sushi roll, deconstructed. It was very good, pleasing to the eye, I would totally order it again, but there were so many things I'd love to try on the menu!“
“Holy cow was this place good!!! All five of my family members were able to find something to feast on. I got the California roll and the spicy tuna! This filled me up with the great portion sizes! My family was able to find ramen to their hearts desire. We all felt this was a place to be if in town. The service from our waitress was amazing. She checked in us multiple times to make sure everything was great! I loved this place so much, and would definitely come here again!“
“I’ve been to Umi several times recently and it is now my favorite sushi restaurant. We’ve dined in and ordered carry out. The food is excellent, service is also excellent and a very nice atmosphere. It’s very clean and nicely decorated. Staff is very friendly and remembers me each time I come back. They even recall what table we sat at during the first visit. Highly recommend! Try the Kissy Kissy roll!“
“The food here is fantastic and a favorite of ours in town. Good happy hour options/prices. Service can be a tad slow if they are super busy but they are very friendly and do their best with the demands of fresh food and the restaurant layout. It's a go to destination!“
“This is a cozy, picturesque restaurant that has some private booth seating. The presentation of the plates was nice, and the food delicious. We attended for lunch, when it was not crowded, but I would not be surprised if it stays busy at night.“
“I have been going to Sakura for over 10 years. I’ve been for lunches, dinners, casual nights with friends, date nights, family nights, and even dined alone there. I’ve always experienced friendly service, good food, and a clean and hospitable environment.“
“The food cannot be complimented enough for its diverse selection and above all taste. Blown away with what they had to offer. I had the dumpling soup and its was nothing shy of what you would find in larger cities. This place gives china towns around the country a run for their money. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a closer authentic Asian food experience.“
“We are huge fans of the original Misaki but are thrilled that this one is closer to where we live now. We always get 3 rolls (always different) then chicken teriyaki (our comfort food). We love it and will always come back! You get so much food for your money! Highly recommend.“
“Wow, what a surprise finding this place was, and can I say it is worth giving it a chance? This was what my husband surprised me with for our anniversary lunch. It's in the Price Cutter strip mall on Battlefield and I usually shy away from strip mall restaurants due to way too many people but to my surprise it was slow probably because of the time of day I am so thankful my husband said "Let's try it". There were two other families in the restaurant, we were greeted as soon as we walked in by the sweetest young lady she told us her name was Mary, and she would be our waitress if we had any questions or concerns please ask she would take care of it right away. We placed our order and I got hot tea it arrived in a cast iron teapot and stayed hot the whole meal I was overjoyed by that, and my husband got a Diet Coke, Mary filled it without him ever asking her she was so polite and on top of everything. My husband ordered lunch and got the Tom Kha Khaki Soup Miso Soup, The Thai Connection with Fried Rice, The Volcano Shrimp with Fried Rice, and the Diversity Roll. The most expensive thing was the sushi at 14.95 but it was all so good and WELL WORTH the price. Ask for Mary when you go it will make her day!! Great Atmosphere, Great Customer Service, Phenomenal Food, 10 Stars. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did.“
“Came in to try Kai for my husband’s birthday. The sushi was delicious (I recommend the Star Wars), and our server Jana took such great care of us. She was so fun and kind, and went out of her way to answer every question we had about the menu. Even with food allergies, Jana made sure my husband had plenty of options to choose from. She made our night. We will be coming back just to see her!“
“My husband and I were so very excited to find an authentic Japanese restaurant upon moving to Springfield! The food, service, and atmosphere are wonderful, the portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable. As others have mentioned, it is a smaller, older building, but we really love the cozy, authentic feel. This is one of our absolute favourite restaurants in Springfield, and my go-to for comfort food!Kid-friendliness: We have a bit of a rambunctious 3-year-old, and everyone at the restaurant is very kind and understanding. We usually share our very generous entrees with our kiddo, and we still usually take extras home. Last time we visited, our server even made a pair of children's chopsticks for our little guy; it was very kind and thoughtful.“
Yum!“
“Our absolute FAVORITE restaurant. The food and atmosphere are incredible, and the staff is always so kind and welcoming!Kid-friendliness: They know my kids by name and have always been so kind, even when my son was in a “I’m going to be your worst nightmare” stage.“
“Dietary restrictions: We had a person with a shellfish allergy, and our chef made sure that the person was not exposed to any allergen by thoroughly cleaning the grill before he began cooking and then cooked the meal, reserving the shrimp people had as the last cooked item.Kid-friendliness: We had an almost-3 yr old with us and the chef made her feel special, serving her foods she would love. We had a little girl who talked about the soup and her noodles the whole way home.“
“We had my son’s graduation party here last May. We had 23 people and had great service and food! We ordered a variety of food, some sushi and some hibachi. Every order was perfect! I was impressed! We eat here often and the service is always great and the food is delicious!“
“So I'm from Chicago originally and I cannot tell you how many Asian restaurants this place reminds me of. Kids in the booth, waiting on Mom, Mom, fighting burnout, taking care of everything/one with class.Food was good, enough for two people. For sure stood by and eat here. The reminder of home is what stands out in my memory of this place.“
“It was such a fun experience for me and my daughter! Even though it was Monday and there was no grill! My 3 year old loved the food and so did I!Kid-friendliness: They made it such a fun experience for my 3 yo and she loved and wants to go back soon! Me too!“
“Went there for the first time tonight. 7pm on a friday..no wait which was great. we had hibatchi steak & shrimp and 2 sushi rolls (Qmazing roll & Spicy crab crunch roll) they were huge!! everything was really good! the only "bad" thing was they didn't have their liquor license yet so we couldn't get saki. lol but other than that this is a great place and not super busy like every other sushi place on the weekend in spfd.“
“I can only speak for a weekend experience. Everything was fresh and they have several options to choose from. It hasn’t been easy finding a Hibachi Buffet this size, especially for such a reasonable price at just $11.99 for lunch. I’m visiting from out of state and I can honestly say, the closest I’ve come to this experience is located in Palm Desert, Ca. I was very pleased. If I lived here, this would definitely be my Hibachi go-to.“
“Delicious, fresh food, lovely staff! The experience was wonderful and I'd love to revisit some timeParking: Free parking, plenty of it around the building!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid-friendly options here! Saw quite a few families with children enjoying the array of goodies.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, but I would suggest having someone to help get food when going through the buffet- it might be a tighter squeeze depending on the size of the wheelchair too.“
“They are doing everything right. Moving to this area a couple years ago, it’s been hard to find consistently good food, especially sushi. Ariake is both great food and service, cool vibe, nice owners, very quickly became our favorite spot in town!“
