Hammerstone's is ALIVE, friendly and authentic. We were there for breakfast and even though it was 9:00 am and there was no scheduled entertainment, the friendly energy of the local crowd and the staff was off the charts. Our food looked and tasted like it was made with pride.Our waitress (who was also the bartender) was super attentive and each one of her table visits made our experience boo coo better. Another legendary Soulard bar. One of the best places for breakfast/brunch in the area. The staff is top-notch! Prices are fair. It's a busy scene on the weekends. They open at 6:30 AM

Wow! Stopped on the way out to Kansas, my love partner and I shared a 1/2 pound ruben sandwhich ...corned beef on marbled rye with garlic parmasean fries.You have NEVER had any corned beef sandwich this lean, this tasty, and so satisfying, unless you've eaten here before. Again WOW...THE service was amazing, it was like having your favorite aunt owning a restaurant. WowFun atmosphere fun people neighborhood joint with live music!!Stop in you will not be disappointed!!!
