“The steak was amazing. My mother has never ordered a steak any way other than well-done and was floored by the medium well. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and provided both a detailed history and flavor profile of select whiskeys/bourbons. This took the experience to a new level as we were able to apply that knowledge when tasting a flight.Amazing experience. Will definitely be back!“

“You wanna make me happy? Take me to Twisted Tree Steakhouse. I've lost count on the number of times I've been there, but let me tell you, it's delicious! I enjoy it so much that I've even got my friends and family loving it.From the salad with the delicious house-made dressings, the humongous baked potatoes, and the STEAK! Whew chile that savory, well seasoned steak! Yumm! In the warmer months, outside seating is available. I've just gotta say, I really love Twisted Tree. You really can't go wrong on the menu. Tasty, tasty, tasty! And always hot and fresh like I love my food to be. You feel like a ROCKSTAR when they bring your steak out in the fancy, silver, heated server. When they plate your steak in front of you, they ladle on a delicious jous! I'd be very surprised if you go and don't enjoy yourself.“

“I've eaten here several times been satisfied but never actually wowed. I had heard bout lenten menu so decided tonight to try it. With some preparation I asked bout cost of baked cod 27 bucks ordered anyway with beans. When dish arrived you could smell the garlic. The I tasted. Omg. This dish was remarkable...get on a plane remarkable. In my lenten journey I was very thankful to have such a wonderful meal. Get here and order this dish while you can. Admire the artistry and simplicity of its preparation. Forget the big names....this is James beard level. It will leave you begging for a straw to slurp up the sauce and wondering how is that possible. Great job carnivore“

“The Tenderloin Room has been one of my favorite places to eat in all of St. Louis. This is mainly because of its value. For its 5-star prices, you get huge portions and don't have to go to another restaurant afterward to feel full. Their choices are flavorful, always served at the right temperature, the service is top notch and the ambiance is intimate which is perfect. Their wine list is second to none and some deserts are prepared right there at the table. It's an all-in-one experience that I recommend to everyone!“

“I went here on a recent visit to St Louis as it was just across the street from my hotel. The exterior is a typical office building look with a patio but the interior is really nice. I went by myself on a weeknight right before Valentine’s Day so it wasn’t busy at all. I ordered a drink, appetizer and steak and some sides and everything was cooked properly and delicious. They definitely pushed their award winning fried raviolis so I tried a few along with some scallops and they were good. Next was a house salad and 8 oz steak top notch quality and didn’t disappoint. Definitely would come back again if I’m able.“

I had the beef tips with mushrooms and they were also cooked to perfection! My companion had a prime sirloin steak that was absolutely huge and he ate the whole thing because he said it was so good! We both had the twice baked potatoes which Charcoal House has always been famous for and they were delicious! The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. “Have only been here once, always forget it's here. BUT I loved my steak...the only place I have ever gotten my steak cooked as ordered...it was fabulous. It's been several years since I was there, I really need to go back.Went back recently, was disappointed food was not as good as before, especially the steak. There was a baked potato big enough for more than one person, but I had ordered a baked sweet potato. My daughter said tell them, said no it would take too long and my other food would be cold. So like I said disappointed this time.“

“I ordered dinner at the bar at Copia in Clayton. Excellent wine selection. Food was very good. Hostess was really friendly, I believe she is a college student. Very nice and checked on us throughout the evening. There was a young man playing acoustic guitar and singing in the bar area, very talented. Overall I felt that my Saturday evening with friends at Copia was a well spent evening. I will be back.“

“We were here for a personalized head chef experience! Being allergic to beef and pork I was a bit hesitant but it turns out I had nothing to worry about! We started out with appetizers of jumbo shrimp, baked goat cheese, wellfleet oysters and short ribs on toast. Next we were served both Ceasar and winter yellow beet salad. Next came a delicious seafood ravioli. The highlight of the evening, Tomahawk Ribeyes, served with scallops with bacon, Brussels sprouts and jumbo lobster tail. For me, I had scallops with Parmesan risotto and salmon and lobster tail. We topped the evening off with chocolate cake and a white chocolate strawberry mousse/cheesecake. Each course was paired with a lovely wine. Every we were served was extraordinary. 5 stars! The staff was attentive, professional and wonderful with my allergy issues. The restaurant was beautiful. Looking for a special girls night out, an anniversary or just an opportunity to dress up check out Steakhouse 1904 at River City Casino!“

“I want to give a huge shout out to our waiter last night his name was Matt he was so patient with us, he had a lot going on last night and was handling it all. He kept checking on us the duration of our visit and was super nice. The manager was a little rude in the plaid picnic shirt he will be okay though the restaurant was packed and busy and I guess he doesn’t handle crowds well. But Matt service made up for how the manager acted before getting us seated. Every staff member in there were bussling their tail off and kudos to them for keeping the restaurant floating smoothly except plaid shirt barking orders at every one even customers. The only thing I didn’t like was my we didn’t get asked how we would like our lamb chops cooked it was medium rare and I’m pregnant can’t have rare meat but I didn’t complain I took home I’ll put it in the air fryer. But they were tender and flavorful when I ate one.“
