Our first experience at Yellowbelly was really nice. While we didn’t try the cocktails this time, if the food is any indication of how well the drinks are made, then we’re in for a treat the next time we come in. We tried the salmon tostada and double cheese burger with beef fat fries and a Panna Cotta for dessert. The tostada was amazing, it had a bright and saucy flavor combined with the buttery raw salmon. While this hip spot is listed as a cocktail bar, it’s definitely more than that. The dining area got a bit noisy with chatty and excited dinner parties, but the food and drink did not disappoint. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, made sure our food was brought out in the correct courses, and cracked a joke or two with us. This has been the most exceptional dining experience in a very long time. Me & my friend came in for a quick bite. We were greeted immediately & told to hang on a sec & it was literally a second. Mike the waiter was very attentive & took care to our almost every need. Chef’s kiss to Yellowbellly!
