We have been desperately looking for a place to replace Mandarin Garden since the are possibly closed (who knows, they never answer the phone....) Anyway, we live off Towers road and unbelievably, we had never tried this place! I have to admit I was very happy with the food. I especially enjoyed the pan fried dumplings (wonderful soy ginger dipping sauce) the eggrolls, the beef lo mein and the General Tso chicken. Food is pretty good, with on-time delivery. Not expensive. Great bang for your buck, and always friendly service. Good lo mein and dumplings. Huge portions - you will have leftovers!

I drive past three other Chinese restaurants to get to China Star. They're fast efficient and very friendly. Although they have tables I've only ever done takeout. The General Tso is tender and just the right amount of seasoning. The honey chicken kicks butt and the egg foo young is great too. Just the fact that I'm willing to drive this far for Chinese food speaks volumes about the quality of their food.
