This restaurant is owned and operated by a husband, wife and daughter and they make all of their pasta sauce from scratch! They are always so kind and welcoming and I always enjoy my visit :)”

“Passing through Ste. Gen., we stopped here for dinner and it was delicious!! Tortillas and chips were clearly fresh, salsa was delicious and had a bit of a kick. We both had chicken dishes and it was moist and flavorful. If we're ever back in the area, will definitely stop again.”

“In my personal opinion this restaurant is home to the best burger known to man, no toppings needed. The service is fast, efficient and incredibly kind and the atmosphere is perfectly retro. Whenever me and my family were fixing up a neighbors house we always ordered the meatloaf and brought it back to our house and it always hit the spot perfectly. both dine in and take out are going to please you. over all I believe this is possibly the best restaurant in Sainte Genevieve.”

“We stayed at this hotel for an anniversary trip. Check in and hotel personnel were friendly. We were left alone after we checked in and that's what we like.Restaurant serves good food and drinks.Rooms: Walls are a little thin for an old building. Bur, room is nice . Water is set too soft; don't like feeling like I will fall in the shower.Walkability: Downtown is only about 2 blocks.”

“Great food and great service. We were seated on the landing, which felt a bit confining but that's just the nature of the historic building. Those bathrooms, tho ? They're too small to change your mind in! All in all, a good experience and be happy to stop back in the next time I'm in town.”

“A perfect roadside watering hole with good food and ice cold beer. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with bacon & onions and a dinner roll was the lunch special when I stopped in and it hit the spot.”

“All the workers that work there always make my sandwich perfectly. I order there frequently and they have given me sweet little notes on my online orders. I know it can be hard trying to keep up with orders but they always manage to get their stuff done. The lighting and decorations are also very nice. I cannot imagine my life without this subway.”

“Everything is good and the quality consistent. The staff friendly. We live have a lake cabin about 25 miles away and make it here about once a month. The location is somewhat isolated, but very pleasant. I recommend reservations if planning to visit on a weekend or holiday.”

The menu isn't huge, which helps a customer new to Sirros and navigate their way to a quick decision regarding what they would like to eat. This is great except that the service was slow. Upon entering and being seated, we overheard other customers ask after the status of their order. We waited quite a while for our order to come. The food was very good. It appeared that the staff was shorthanded. The atmosphere was laid back as well. Meal prices were good as well.”
