I worked there as a busboy in 67 & 68. My name is Brad Hughes and I live in Cottage Grove Mn. Ernie was the owner and everyone came there. Sugar Creek at that time was a great place to live when you were a kid. There were bars up and down Sterling all the parents were at the bars and us kids just hung out. Very nice pub nestled in Sugar Creek, MO. Their food was very good, and the service was outstanding. A great slice of Americana that has stayed true to their roots. Give them a visit, and you will not be sorry.
I don't know if any of you where but this family Ernie and his family that the steakhouse's name after Agnes and the group 40 years ago appeared on family feud with Richard Dawson and many of the people that appeared on the show actually worked in the steakhouse not sure if it's still holds up now so if you ever got a chance to catch reruns of family feud they appeared on family feud sadly they didn't win any money but they had a chance to play the feud with a great family and...read full review
