“This place was recommended to us when we first moved to Mississippi two years ago. Just getting around to trying it out. And it did not disappoint. I had the filet special which was a 6oz filet on top of a portobello mushroom and topped with crab meat in a cream sauce. It was awesome. We had Christian as our waiter and he was great. Will definitely ask for him next time. Wine and drinks and dessert were also wonderful.”

“The margaritas are good they don't do the rainbow but it's very clean the atmosphere could use some work but the staff and service are polite "not a lot of English speaking" going on but they will bring as many people as they need to try an understand our Mississippi accents. “We stopped in for lunch after a long drive from Oxford to Natchez. We drifted through the front doors while our nostrils filled with the inviting aromas of smoking meats and were pleasantly delighted to be served massive portions of BBQ'd chicken, two sides and desert for less than $15. We would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning.”

“This place is great. Eat here most weeks with my kids. Really good food at a fair price. You won’t find a better thin crust pizza in the metro area. Young people that work here are polite, courteous, and hard working which is refreshing. Owner/manager always there, can tell he treats his people good. “The name of this restaurant isJ's Kitchen.....New South restaurant has been gone from this location for more than a year.When you go to J's Kitchen you receive excellent customer service, well seasoned food (although sometimes there is more salt on the food than I prefer), well cooked food and short wait times.There is not really any room inside for dining in (almost exclusively a takeout joint) but I think they will make a place for you to dine in should you choose to do so.Remember, this restaurant is calledJ's Kitchen and TOTALLY different ownership than New South.New South has been gone from this location for more than a year.”

“Home from off the road. I got up early so I could get 2 hollow, burgers and 3 hotdogs with everything and fries. Saw Mrs. Dorothy today. I told her next time I come home I’m ordering me some chicken salad because they always sell her out.”

“I didn't want to post an entirely new review. I only wanted to upload the latest image of the Chicken Lo Mein dish I tried. However yelp is just insistent every time I try a new dish I leave a new review. That's unfortunate because some of their dishes are absolutely delicious and I rated them highly (see my previous review) but bamboo express completely missed the mark with the chicken lo mein. For starters the dish looked nothing like the image. They used a larger softer flat noodle and that was not the noodle on the image. The chicken lo mein picture on the side of their building (by drive thru) has a much firmer looking rounder noodle and it has broccoli and an assortment of other vegetables and the sauce on the noodle is minimal. The texture of the lo mein plate I recieved was off. The noodles were mushy. The sauce was gummy and in too much abundance. The only vegetable were a large super soft onion pieces and the chicken was not fresh at all and it was also gummy. And in just a few hours the dish had a horrible smell. As if it was rotten or spoiled. I took a few bites of it and tossed the entire dish in the garbage.”
