Let me preface that I'm an out of towner. Service isn't the end all be all with me, so I won't harp too much on it. Just weird that for a refill of a drink the fountain is behind the counter and no table service is provided. The food was absolutely perfect, delicious and so great that the rest didn't matter. The catfish was delicate, crispy and full of flavor! Each side was great and complimentary. I can't recommend this enough if you're passing through!
You can't go wrong when choosing to eat at The Little Dooey! Wonderful bbq, baked beans, and of course the fried pickles makes it my restaurant of choice in both Columbus and Starkville! The service is excellent and fast, and the atmosphere is very hometown Columbus- fun and full of locals!

Excellent customer service! Delicious BBQ, Memphis style barbecue sauce, and many options for sides. Besides being known for their barbecue they have a nice sized menu with several other soul food type options. Everything I have ever had here is delicious! We prefer their barbecue here because they use a sweet barbecue sauce and some of the other local places use more of a North Carolina vinegar based sauce. They can also handle large to go orders, too! Small town atmosphere.
