To me this place is strange and dark. Food is unique, chips are broken taco shells. It wasn't my favorite place but it has been a staple family owned restaurant in Columbus for decades. Many of our parents who are now grandparents and great grandparents went to this restaurant on dates. It has unique Mexican food, the food was good just unlike any other place I have been, it is worth going once if you have never been.

This unassuming building holds a great little restaurant with friendly servers and some awesome food. The decor just keeps coming at you, and there are always more little things to find.I got there just as they unlocked the doors Saturday afternoon, and 3 other tables were filled within 5 minutes. Within half an hour, 3/4 of all of the tables (and the parking lot) were all filled! I figure that's always a good sign. Drove 30 miles to try out this place in observance of Cinco De Mayo and glad I did. We were seated right away at 7pm on a Friday night and had a very attentive waitress. The food is authentic Mexican food and it was devine. The authenticity of their dishes and the quaint atmosphere is what sets them apart from the rest! I will be a repeat patron for many years to come.
