Hattie's Kitchen

Today was my first time in Greenville. Whenever I’m in a new city, I google places to eat. Hattie’s kitchen was wonderful. The staff was pleasant. The food was Amazing ? I had smothered chicken with rice, cabbage, broccoli and cheese casserole, and a corn muffin. The music selection had me jamming while ate. I can’t wait to go back. I put hot sauce and pepper on everything. ?

We were driving home to Arkansas and decided to drive through Greenville, MS to look for a place to eat. My wife found Hattie's Kitchen via an internet search so we decided to stop in. Hattie's is a small unassuming hole in the wall restaurant serving down home southern soul food that will have you licking your lips and fingers because it is so good. This place is wonderful. I was in Greenville for business and needed lunch near where I needed to be. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel right at home. I had the turkey leg with rice and my co worker had the smothered pork chops. Everything "stick to your bones" good and comforting. It was just what we needed after a long flight. If ever if the area again, I will definitely go back.
