So a couple days later I planned a date night and brought her here!!Kenny was out waiter-- we walked in. We were seated right away! He took our drink orders- and our appetizers order. The ambiance and warming feeling of this restaurant was everything and more. As a lesbian, married couple in 2024 we still get looked at and judged for going out to eat together. Like the Indian Delights place in Ocean Springs. But this place made us feel like we belonged and the food was absolutely incredible!! My wife got the royal reds with a big steak hahaha. I got the lemon Parmesan crusted chicken. We plan to come once a month for date night! We love going to places that takes care of everyone. No matter race, gender or sexual orientation. “It's really nice inside, but the wait can be ridiculously long. My wife and I ordered a salad and it took over 40 minutes to get it. The waitress kept apologizing, and that was nice of her. However, that's way too long to wait for a salad.“

“My husband and I like to try different restaurants..and we saw this about a year ago..so one afternoon we was driving on the beach in Gulfport Ms..and saw it..decided to go..as soon as we walked in we felt at home..the server was the best..I wished I would have gotten her name..anyways we ordered the crab fondue for a Appetizer..OMG it was Delicious only thing was it was enough..we wanted more..lol..I got the shrimp Alfredo pasta..Delicious no bread was served with it..so we had to order that separately..My husband order the fish for the day and it was Grilled Grouper..He said that was the best piece of fish he has ever eaten..and we eat alot of fish..lol..So needless to say we will be back...“

“Such a surprisingly pleasant experience! The cashier was more than patient answering my questions and even making great suggestions. This was my first time ever at this restaurant or any Captain D's. I am very picky when it comes to fish so I normally don't order any at fast food or restaurants. However, my husband said they have the best fish. So I ordered the fish and shrimp and boy was it great! Hot!! Lightly battered and had a gentle crunch. Not at all what I was expecting. And it wasn't "fishy" smelling or tasting which was a big relief. I guess to explain further, it tasted like fresh fish and not rotten strong smelling and tasting fish. Which was perfect for me! Even enjoyed the Mac and cheese which was worth the upcharge to change from fries. Bush puppies were pretty goid as well! Another one I'll add to my "I will be back" list ☺️- Also, the restaurant was very clean. Big plus!“

“I love the burger..and the big krinkle cut fries and onion rings..are so good. I got a double cheese buger. So so good can't say enough about that burger...but way to expensive close to 8 dollars plus almost 3 dollars for the extra Patti and cheese slice..so 11 dollars for a burger is kinda much not ther fault I have seen grocery prices..fries are very good .a good portion all so ..just the price is to much ..real onion rings ..so good ..only other complaint I have was the large cup of ice with a sip or 2 of soda..now that could be helped..more soda less ice..please!!! ..anyway ..as good as the food is here I can't see paying just over 20 dollars for a burger and fry and drink ..onion ring...on a good note they make great snowballs......it's a great place to go regardless just for that..thank you“

“Our waitress was so kind and sweet to our children! Took them a minute to make their order but she was so patient with them and recommended the new strawberry waffles so my son and I got them and we loved them! My kids would recommend the sweet tea as well, pretty delicious. My husband got cheese grits and was hesitant about how they would be and they were amazing! So glad we stopped in for brunch it's been awhile since we went to a waffle house and this one did not disappoint!“

Connie maybe idk I’m sorry lol I got the veggie burger for the first time and it’s so good and it’s big. I’m currently eating it the next day and it’s still good. (Next day photos) Fries were good as well. I also had a strawberry margarita with tequila $13. This meal will be a go to of mine. I’m not a vegetarian but I’m not a fan of a lot of meats either so this was a perfect substitute.“

“The waffle house location is right on Highway 90 in Gulfport. It has a great view. They were not very busy. The food was of course excellent. I would recommend a pecan waffle or blueberry waffle. They are the bomb. Of course their hashbrowns are tasty as always, eggs were cooked well, and I chose their ham which was very good.The server just seemed to be a little bit out of it, but you know everybody has their days.And who doesn’t like waffle house, right? !“
