“Very good BBQ. They have their own sauces. Been there a few times and just getting around to reviewing. Either myself or my group have had just about everything on the menu. My fave is the brisket and the brussel sprouts. They are generous with the portions and better than alot of other places I've tried.“
“Stopped here after reading mostly good google reviews. $32 with drinks Wife and I came at 4:15 and were the only ones there. Buffet was full and everything was hot surprisingly. Service was great as it should be since it was just us. Place was clean. Name is misleading. It's neither a seafood or bbq buffet. It's a Southern country buffet.“
“1st time going to longhorns. We ordered a steak which was cooked nicely but no seasoning. Good with A1. The mac and cheese was awesome. The broccoli was good. The loaded potato was ok. I give 4 stars because my friend enjoyed the shrimp and rice.“
“The ribs were perfect! Not cooked to mush or "fall of the bone". The brisket was excellent too. Turnip greens were seasoned well. Not a big fan of the cole slaw or baked beans. Only minor complaint was they got the sides wrong. Not a big deal.This is the best bbq I've had in years, besides my own.“

“On the 7-hour drive home from a disastrous weekend getaway, we really REALLY needed some comfort food. We decided to try somewhere off the interstate. What we found was Murky Waters BBQ. The service here was outstanding. We were told it was just 1 guy in the kitchen but that didn't diminish the quality of the service or the food. I got the brisket and my wife got the blackened chicken - both were outstanding. We decided to make Murky Waters our go-to in Hattiesburg since we usually roll through here around lunch time on the way to New Orleans and around dinner time on the way back. Thank you, Murky Waters! You guys were just what we needed.“
