So I ate the Goldpost Sandwich House today for the first time, even though I've lived in the area all my life. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by the most pleasant young lady. The experience continued to be above par and the food was absolutely amazing! Definitely check out the gumbo and their signature house dressing with a salad. As for the service ... keep up the great work! definitely looking forward to going back.
This is an awesome place to eat. Cleanest restaurant I’ve seen in years!!! I mean it. Restaurants now are so dirty but this one was clean through out. The windows were spotless. The bathrooms was unbelievably clean and when we first walked in you could smell the cleaning products. Hamburger and fries was good and I love their drink cups. For some reason this place is great. The interior recently got a nice and needed face lift, the food is pretty good. The gumbo is ON POINT!! The service is up and down though. You'll either get a nice happy gal or grumpy one who doesn't like people. Either way I still come back and enjoy every bit of Gold Post!!
