“The food was amazing, but what really made our experience was the service. Taylor was fantastic, gave us excellent recommendations and accommodated us joyfully even though we came in for a full dinner about 30 minutes before closing. He brought us samples of their baked oysters (omg so good), gave us great recommendations, and arranged for a delicious bread pudding surprise for our birthday guests. Thank you Taylor! “Stopped here on the way through and so glad we did. The steak and fries is amazing! Had the beef and cheddar and wings...all also great. And the smoked margarita topped off the experience with a little jalapeño infused simple syrup! Yum! Definitely will be back. Staff was great and place was super clean and had a cool vibe.“
“We were very pleased with our first meal at El Sombrero in Gluckstadt. The food was great! They had a nice atmosphere, very friendly and responsive staff, and it was spotless. We lived in Houston, Texas for a few years, and became very spoiled to great Tex-Mex. It's been hard to find good Mexican here, but El Sombrero is the best! We'll be back.“
“My first time here and I really enjoyed it. We started with the meatball appetizer that came with feta sauce and they were great. I got the Thalassino which was different types of seafood on top of rice with a white wine sauce, and it came with a salad. The food Thalassino was great and I loved the salad, I’m a big fan of feta sauce. It was pretty affordable and the service was great!“
“OMG! The food is the bomb! This was my first time eating here but definitely will not be my last, will be a weekly thing for me. I had the lunch portion snow crab plate, potatoes and corn. I asked for there recommendations about seasoning and the sides and they where on point. I'm not much of a cheesecake eater, but the strawberry cheesecake was really good. “First time ordering from here. This little corner of Gluckstadt has some amazing places to eat btw! This place is my new favorite chicken wing place! The flats and drummets were PHAT!!! They were BIG!!! I got my husband some Royal Reds and let me tell you, ya saving us some gas 'cause we don't have to go all the way by Amerigo's anymore. Yes, your Royal Reds just fancied my Cajun's tongue! We will most definitely be back for more deliciousness! And the young lady who checked me out was super kind.“
“My time at the Crab Boat has been nothing short of great! The servers are kind, welcoming, and timely. The seating is comfortable with room to have a larger party if need be.
