Stopped for lunch on our way north. Very glad that we did. The gumbo was superb, probably the best we have ever had, and we have lived in New Orleans for the past 30 years. Finest kind of oyster po'boy. Wish we lived closer, so we could go there regularly.
I was a little “iffy” on this place at first. Service was almost non-existent but the waitress was new so I was very forgiving. But the food was awesome! It’s definitely worth it.

This is a very local place and one you should stop by and eat! The service is friendly and the food was excellent! I had the seafood gumbo and boudin sausage. The seafood gumbo was the best I have ever tasted ! I will be stopping by again the next time I am in town!
