3 14 24 update to 5 year old review. Lunch - No more poboy, menu much more limited, fried chicken buffet and like everything more expensive. The service, atmosphere, and setting are still very nice. We each had the shrimp and crab meat salad, which was very good. It was also the only thing on the menu that was a little unusual. The atmosphere was amazing. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. Our food took a little long, and it seemed to be overcooked.I will give them another chance the next time I am in town because I heard great things.

We visited for Thanksgiving and would definitely return. The food was absolutely delicious! Servers were stretched too thin with the holiday crowd, we were never able to score a refill on our drinks and had to leave the table to find someone to help us pay our bill after waiting for quite some time, but dining out on a holiday requires patience and understanding. Loved our time at this beautiful historic property!
