“I used to live in Nettleton and would eat here almost every week. I live in Tupelo now and still drive to this restaurant very often. I actually went today, and I never fail to order less than $50 worth of food. I absolutely love this restaurant. They always make my order right, I never have to go back in because they forgot something, the portions are great, and they have the best cheese dip deal around!!! Shout out to EL TOROOOOOOO!!!! You’ll always have my money!!!❤️❤️❤️”

“Hometown Pizza is one of my Family favorite dinner nights. We love the chicken bacon ranch pizza, the hoagie with thier awesome buns. We love to get the 5 dollar cheesesticks on Wednesday and they have plenty of other options. A great place to have nearby!”

“I have always had great service and great food here! The employees are always very friendly, engage well, and make your food exactly as you ordered it. They are also excellent at managing themselves properly if ever they have to ask you to repeat the next items you've selected to go on your sandwich or if they have made a mistake (which is extremely rare in my experiences), they conduct themselves maturely and responsibly as they make any corrections. Usually a fun conversation is shared with several genuine laughs. The facility has recently been remodeled making the place look brighter, cleaner, and bigger. I honestly prefer the old look but I must admit this new look does open up the space more and does have a cleaner appearance which has never been an issue here; it is always well maintained and very clean each visit.The menu has improved by adding new options to eat other than sandwiches and include small individual size pizzas and salads larger than what is considered a side salad at most steakhouses. I've not had their pizzas but I have had a salad which was great. It was large, tok much for me to eat in one sitting, but very delicious. Both the pizzas and salads are made in the same process of making a sub sandwich. Because community members are limited to only five places to in this town, it is typical to have to wait in line here. On average though, there may be up to 3 other custimers in line waitinftoo. However, the typical waiting time in line is approximately 5 minutes max. Good service, good food, fast.”

“I moved back to the USA in 2013, following 28 years in Europe. One place that I discovered was Sonic. Yes, they were here before I left in the 1980s. No, I had never been to a Sonic before! Their meals are very good for USA fast food. Their menu also mentions each items calorie count. This is important to me, as a senior citizen with a proper weight. As specified by my doctors, I always get daily exercise & stay below the 2000 calorie daily count. The experience at Sonic gives an ambiance of an in car diner. They are very fast & have good food products, if one reads the caloric content. The Sonic team is great at their level of customer service. Please be certain to give gratuity to your server. They truly work hard for their incomes! Sonic gets a thumbs up from me! Sonic in Nettleton, MS gets a thumbs up & an applause from me!”

After a few quick questions, we decided to zip on over, and we were MET AT THE DOOR by the absolute best server we could have asked for. Every person there went out of their way to make sure we had an outstanding experience!I'm a big girl, so when I ordered my pulled pork nachos over fries, I ordered a large plate.Baaaabaaayyy! My friend's small nacho plate came out first. At that moment, I realized that I'd bitten off more than I could chew. Literally!The platter of nachos that was put in front of me could have fed an army, and they were so good that I'm still snatching bites out of my take home plate that I shared with my hubby.There is no doubt that this is the best food in Amory.I'm giving all my stars and all my thanks for such an amazing meal and such personal attention.”

“I like Mike's Bar and Grill it's cool, no fighting going on you know everybody's having a beer playing some pool and since I am disabled and my left hand is not how I wanted to be I have to make do and I'm trying to invent a new way for a woman to shoot pool with the new tool and I love to play pool is such a great pastime and it keeps me calm and I love the fact that you're in the pool balls popped in the hose after you know that you can make that shot so I'm trying to invent a new cue holder 4 disability people that love to shoot pool anyone that's out there that would love to give me any advice I good love to discuss how we can actually invent this for other people with disabilities cuz it keeps us in the real world I've never talked about my disability but I don't have a problem talking about my disability because of people don't have questions or ask questions they will never know cuz you do know what they say conversation rules the nation and closed mouth don't get fed just saying my name is Mary L Grady I am 44 years old I'm a mother of two and I have two beautiful granddaughters and there is nothing out there I can't say I wouldn't love to try would love to do cuz I don't say the word can't and I never give up and I always keep my faith.......”

“First bakery outlet I've seen in years!! Quaint bakery with reasonable prices on baked goods. Good for snacks, sweets, and bread. Prices on bread are less expensive than the grocery stores. The employees are very friendly and helpful. No waiting in long lines, the bakery is well kept neat and easy to shop. Will be visiting again!”

“Small town restaurant with pretty good steaks. The steak for 2 is a good deal, you can split it, and each get two sides. I also had the fried shrimp plate. You get 8 shrimp with two sides for around $22, or sub out 1 side for a salad bar trip (one small bowl of salad) for an extra $3.50. The live music is nice! It’s a nice alternative if you don’t want to drive into Tupelo. It’s not a cheap place to eat though at all. It doesn’t compare to Red Lobster or Longhorn in my opinion. Just local grub, nothing fancy, but decent food.”
