Read the entire review before going to the next. $275.00 a dinner for 2. I reserved a prevalentines date with my girlfriend since Valentines is on a weekday. You would think a steak costing $68.00 to more than $100.00 would come with at least 1 side and a non alcoholic drink, it doesn't. Everything is priced separately. Tico's food is fantastic and it is always consistently fantastic. Service at the table is also very good but they always seems short of bus boy staff to help with water, clearing dishes and resetting tables. The head hostess had to help and was clearing tables herself to get tables ready and then she would seat guests. Tico's also uses an old pen and paper approach to reservations. The steak at Ticos was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I enjoyed it very much, but the steak was a bit too big for me and I couldn't finish everything. The service and ambience were also very good.There is a star deduction due to the price. I think $8 for fries is quite high.I would love to come back on my next business trip.
