“It's not as good as it once was ! I am very disappointed with the amount of food I got for almost 14 dollars that with a drink! Got a fish filet with fries and slaw ! Maybe a 1/4 cup of slaw and a small amount of fries that look like they had been done for a while or what was let over from earlier ! I expect better ! I like the place ! You all can do it better ! Don't sacrifice quality for quantity!”
“There are not a lot of “all you can eat buffet style” restaurants open post-Covid, but this catfish place in the small town of Sherman in north Mississippi is an exception doing a lot of business. When you drive up into a parking lot that’s an acre or more and you have to grab the first spot you see, you know it’s popular and must be pleasing someone. Now if buffets and Southern Cooking aren’t your cup of tea, you probably need to go elsewhere. If you remember them from the ol’ days and you liked them, you will feel right at home. For about $15 a head, you can eat until you can’t eat any more. There is, of course, catfish cooked multiple ways — filets, whole, baked and broiled slabs — along with chicken, pork, meat loaf and boiled shrimp. Just about any veggie you want is there along with all the fixings and bread. And don’t leave without tasting some of the best cobblers — blackberry, peach and apple were available for us — anywhere and close to a dozen flavors of hand-dipped ice cream. You pay going in — there is a discount for cash — and take a seat to wait on your waitress to get your drink, give you a fork and napkins, and turn you loose. Our server checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay. Yes, there is a line for the buffet, but it moves well. Not much negative to say except that the slaw is a bit different than we’ve had elsewhere, the cups are tiny for salads, and there was no fried shrimp. Two hints: arrive early and leave room for plenty because your eyes will out-do your tummy.”
“Some of the best food in Tupelo. I come here every time I'm in town for work. Highly recommend their voodoo tots and the braised angus short ribs. I get them every time!”
“This is our must stop in Tupelo. Coffee is excellent. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is kind of arty. We recommend Autumn in a cup if they have it (seasonal) and the snickerdoodle latte.Parking: Directly in front of the store.”
“Passing through Tupelo from West Virginia and discovered thos restaurant. The food is very fresh and delicious! I had the Octopus Ala Huimanguillo, which also included scallops and shrimp. We enjoyed dinner so much that we came back for the lunch buffet the next day, which was also very good!”
“Our family stopped here as we were passing through Tupelo. The service and food was top notch. Haley, the server, was extremely helpful and attentive the whole meal. She made food recommendations, and made sure that our food was delivered promptly when ready. My wife ordered the bread pudding (very delicious) and brought it out as soon as ready so the ice cream didn’t melt while waiting on the other dessert. The food was phenomenal. Great flavor and preparation. Only regret is that the Bulldog Burger wasn’t closer to our home.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu with different options like inside out grilled cheese and sloppy joes.”
“My son doesn't want to eat any where else now in tupelo. He ordered the chicken pieces in salad. I ordered the smash burger. Always more than I can eat, well worth the money.”
“Stopped with a large camper because of the truck parking. Decided to have our breakfast here at this Huddle House!! Would give it 10 stars if we could. Our waitress was Clarissa she was awesome even when they were swamped with orders. Next time we are passing through this will be our go to spot!! Thanks to all who work there!!!”
“This little coffee shop is absolutely an amazing find! They have great service and a very chill ambiance. I ordered a Cortado; a drink made from equal parts espresso and milk. It was served at the perfect temperature and was even complete with latte art! The best part? They roast their own coffee beans. But don't just take my word on it, go give them a try.”
“The ice cream and waffle cone tasted delicious! The customer service was very good and the place was nice and clean. My kids can't wait to go back to try all the different flavors and treats!”
“Little hole in the wall but they have a huge selection of drafts and the food was true Southern cooking. I ordered the pork and greens and there 4 others that seen my plate and stated they should've ordered that. It's was very good at a good price and good service.”
“The atmosphere is amazing! We were traveling by from San Antonio and saw this place. The food definitely has soul in it and the customer service was better than any other restaurant I have had!”
“Came across this place when stopping through Tupelo for the evening and so happy we did!!! Wow! The service was so sweet. The food was incredible!! Ordered the chicken pad Thai and cashew chicken, both level 2, and they came out so fresh and flavorful! Definitely a place to try if you’re in town!”
“OmG my friend brought these over the top delicious pieces of cake in while I was visiting. The blueberry and the Apple praline were off the charts fantastic. we also had German cake. i not a big fan of GCC but her's was pretty good. Im back home in KS wishing I could get me a slice of the apple praline!”
“Excellent blueberry margaritas! Food was quick to come out, even for our bigger group. Great place for a quick bite & long conversation. Perfect for a quick post-meal shopping trip, too . 1.27.24”
“What a wonderful eclectic dining experience with the best curry I've ever had. I had the Panang curry with chicken and my husband had the red curry with tiger prawns. We ended the meal sharing the sticky rice with fresh mango. If I lived near here this would be my favorite go to place. Great service and very clean inside and even the parking lot.”
“First of all Tupelo 2 go is wonderful. My food has always arrived timely and in great condition. Sweet Tea and Biscuits was no exception. The pimento sandwich with greens were on point. The chess pie was great for after meal dessert.”
“TOP NOTCH!!! Our server Malachi was TERRIFIC!! Atmosphere was great. Ate out on the patio. I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. My son had the mahi-mahi fish tacos. Wife and daughters had 3 different salads. All of the food was delicious. Malachi was an absolute pleasure. Fun. Laid back. Helpful. Patient. We could not have asked for a better experience. Would recommend to friends without any reservations. Please let Malachi know how much we appreciate his exceptional service. Recommended a Blue Moon beer and added an orange wedge to it. It was delicious. If I could give it 7 stars, I would.”
“Delish!!!! We got the smoked chicken, fried chicken strips, Mac and cheese, potato wedges and rolls. This is some of the best chicken and macaroni we have ever had! The smoked chicken was falling off the bone. The fried chicken strips were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They have the best customer service also!!!”
“The steaks and food are always amazing. Our servers were good, not great. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. The other negative was the blooming onion. It was so salty, I needed some blood pressure medications after.”
“I’ve never had a bad experience here and as someone who originally wasn’t s big fan of East Asian style dishes I was pleasantly surprised. You get quite s lot of food for your purchase. Sure it might be s but pricy for noodles but it’s worth it.The atmosphere is calm, the waiters are nice and they have a robocat that brings your food out. I’ve been told it sings happy birthday too you so fair warning if your not into that. They also have special little booths that feel like an old style ramen stand (for anyone that likes anime you will know what I mean) over all really chill place to eat.”
“The chicken soup is awesome! Only wish the chicken would have been cooked a little more to make it more tender so it might fall apart. I had to tear it up but other than that YUM! My husband ordered shrimp tacos and we split the bean dip which was HUGE!The tacos were massive and great too. The dip was okay.Definitely going back. Great tea if you like tea.”
“My first visit to Jobos — Downtown Tupelo was with my sister. We sat on the patio and shared an appetizer — sofrito salsa & benton's bacon guac. I could have eaten just that and been fine. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a burger to share with parm fries for a side (not to forget the quick pickles). My next visit was with my family and we dined inside. The charm of the place is impeccable. We enjoyed Sunday Bruch that featured items such as French toast, bacon, aji potatoes. The aji was a delicious green sauce. The short rib hamburger steak stack was a hit, too.”
“Ok, this is my FAVORITE Pizza spot in Tupelo. You guys do this absolutely right. You guys would fit right in either NY pizza any day. Thank you for you dedication to quality food.”
“This is the best tasting pulled pork BBQ that I have had anywhere in the country. It has some sort of special "burn" flavoring and is VERY moist. You don't need the BBQ sauce. Although it isn't bad, you don't want to cover the flavor of the meat. The baked beans are pretty good, but not my favorite. The ribs are just okay, and can be topped by other local BBQ joints. The nachos are good, but nothing over the top. Just go with the pulled pork sandwich. Trust me.The service is always great with plenty of conversation with the owner and his wife. They are very pleasant and down to earth. The atmosphere is simple, and plain with no indoor seating available. There are two tables outside with 4 chairs each and maybe a picnic table under the side roof.”
“Went to try the "Santa flat" (I think that's what it was called) of coffee and it did not disappoint. My sister and I enjoyed it so much and it definitely gave us sometime to catch up and talk. The workers were polite and friendly.”
“Really good flavors. We ordered the lunch Panang, red Curry and Pad Thai. They came with soup and crispy roll. The food had a nice flavor and the portions were of a size that fit a lunch special. We shared the food. My wife could not eat the rolls as they were flour and I would not eat the soup as it had chicken. We worked that out though. The service and staff were nice. They are rated highly and I see why. Nicely done!”
“I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It's so much better than your usual ice cream and much better priced. The Strawberries or mangos and cream dessert is something I constantly crave. I've never been disappointed from this place and everyone is always extremely nice. My favorite treat since moving to Tupelo!”
“The food is really good. Good quality at a great price. I recommend that when serving chips and salsa to 2 people please bring 2 bowls of salsa some people don't want to share.”
