Really enjoy their quiet unpretentious atmosphere, super friendly staff and solid food choices. Prices are good too for this town.

I have eaten at Iron Griz numerous times in the past, and have enjoyed my experiences there... Unfortunately, I am writing this after attempting to share a meal with family who were in town, and I wanted to take them to IG. Their website said they were open, but I wanted to call just to make sure; however, the phone number listed for them (website and facebook) wasn't helpful--just rang and rang, and then a computer voice picked up and asked me to enter a PIN (no message). So, I figured since the website indicated 'open' and I was able to make/confirm a reservation through Open Table, the odds were in my favor. Nope. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, reservation confirmation notwithstanding. Very disappointing.

One of my top places to get lunch at in town. Recommend to anyone who wants to be impressed by the blending of flavors and textures in their food. Don't need to be vegan to be wowed by their vegetarian and vegan menu options either. Love to go here for a date. No photos, got gobbled up.

Finally I got here when they were open. I came for a PoBoy sandwich but alas it was only on the summer menu. But the fireplace was warm, our waiter was outstanding and food was great. You better have robots next summer?

My husband and I love this place. The food is great! Fresh and delicious. We sympathize that everyone is having staffing issues right now but don’t let that keep us from eating there weekly. We have dined outside all summer up until last Friday night. We plan to eat there after the November reboot.Vegetarian options: My favorite is the Vegetable Saute. But all are good.Parking: We never have to walk very far. We usually find a spot within a half dozen spots from the door.Kid-friendliness: We took our three year old granddaughter there and ate outside. She enjoyed it and so did we. No muss, no fuss. Great place for families.

Significant other and i went here for the first time today and it was amazing! We started with the corn bread basket as well as fried okra. Both were delicious and the portions were large enough that we didn't finish them before the entrees arrived. Definitely a lot of appetizer for a great price! I had the Smokey Chicken Andouille Gumbo that was SO TASTY! My significant other had the Catfish Fingers (which we both found divine) that came with some of the best fries I've had in a long time. The portions of the entrees were quite large and awesomely priced. And one of the coolest attributes is that all of the produce is grown on-site! The service here is STELLAR (Mason rocks!!) and the atmosphere is super cozy. We sat outside and enjoyed quite a beautiful view. We are definitely going back!Dietary restrictions: They offer many Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Friendly options

I was looking forward to trying out this place and the okra and service were good, but the pickled pig salad was horrible, and left us hungry. Each bite tasted like vinegar, just awful. I would have told them to hold the vinegar if I had known. I like pickles but dang that was potent. Lots of fried food and sandwiches. But I appreciate their garden-to-table offerings (there is a large garden in the front of the restaurant they utilize) I'll go again (which is why I gave it a four-star) just thought I'd warn new customers about that particular salad. I guess I got my probiotics for a week. I would have preferred to taste those fresh vegetables without the vinegar. Also the "pig" was small tidbits of bacon you could barely find or see.

The fact they are closed on Sunday is absolutely ridiculous and just bad business. How can you pass up serving literally hundreds of golfers on one of two busiest golf days? The University has an MBA program, someone from that program should help this restaurant out.

I had a really nice experience at this restaurant the 2 times we've dined here. They have a garden outside of the restaurant where they actually grow some of their vegetables, etc. They describe as uber local sourced, and this is a great description. I had quick and friendly service both times. The food was hearty and tasty. I will definitely go back. There are unique for the area menu choices. I also definitely enjoyed the scenery of the golf course, with the gorgeous trees, birds, and mountains that are on full view on the outside seating area. Watching the golfers play by, I think, is pretty cool, too.

Other than beautiful setting if you sit outside , food was very below average. Very unwelcoming when you wait to be seated. Very strange for Missoula since most of the place people are very welcoming. Average Sandwich with saggy fries , Gumbo was just ok for the price . Not going again .

Underwhelmed with our experience. The service was terrible- served us food and had never given us napkins or silverware. We wanted to love the food, but really just found it to be just-ok. The best thing we ordered was the shrimp and grits. These were quite delicious. We also appreciate the wine selection- mostly wines from Washington. I'd only return to sit on the patio and have a drink.
