I rented a space at Rumour for my small wedding and it was absolutely perfect! The owners and employees were a delight to work with, easy to schedule with and very nice. The room was beautiful, lots of light, seating, tv's, fireplace, overhead music, and a bar with glassware included. The employee working ( I believe Montana?) was so helpful and very hospitable, she made the experience great! I will definitely be coming back!

2 stars is only because of ambiance and drink list. Food was a 1 star ... not edible especially for a menu with such limited options. If you want a chill place for a drink ?If you want a sit down dinner , dont waste your time or money.

So much had changed since the last time in, menu went from pages and lots of variety to burgers, fries, and "fish tins", like the waitress says kind of like sardines. Service was great but can't make up for bad changes in menu, went in for a nice dinner but ended up with burgers, nothing special pizza, and "sardines"

If I could give a no star I would! The food was not good.Everything was over price. The tenderloin was dry and not the best quality you had to eat it just to get your moneys worth. The cheese board was not large like the waiter said and it was 8 dollars an item! For Montana paying that much for 7 people it should’ve been some high quality food. This restaurant is trying to be more than it is. Also get a large enough table in the actual restaurant. That’s not classy sticking your customers in the casino.

This place is absolutely amazing! I come here quite often as it is local and keeps me away from the sometimes off-putting downtown establishments. Picture below is most my recent date night meal and the Blood Orange margaritas. The appetizer was the delicious and well-portioned lobster ceviche, followed by a perfectly cooked filet on a bed of asparagus and mashed. My girlfriend had the pesto orrichiette, which she said was "fire" and was portioned so well we ate it later for a snack.The bartender Geoff is knowledgeable and amazing, and Jon and Colleen who own the place are kind and actively involved in both management and service in their restaurant. This is my favorite spot for a classy and reasonable Missoula night out, and the atmosphere is amazing.Definitely a place to try out. The range of the menu also leaves an opening for an inexpensive sandwich with an extensive beer, wine, and liquor list. Thanks ?

They burned my pizza. They probably need help, but wasn't happy that I still had to pay for the burned pizza. They of course asked me If I wanted a new one, but took almost an hour to get the pizza, and I was hungry and not patient enough to ask for it to be remade.... and take another hour.

I was looking forward to returning to my daughter's favorite Missoula restaurant. Service was mediocre and the tuna was overcooked. I would have sent the tuna back if my complaining wouldn't have modified my girl. Salad was good but overdressed. Likely I will only return when my daughter is celebrating something
A fantastic midtown Missoula gem. Owners are incredibly friendly, staff is pleasant, food and drink are great. Like many places in Missoula right now, Mid-2021, they are doing a amazing job being attentive to everyone.

So, I have not wanted to review this place because it's been my secret garden during the pandemic. I've been able to come here, for a break from life, and peacefully enjoy a high quality drink at a reasonable price. Suffice it to say, I should have just started here today. I made the mistake of going to another long standing spot, along side the river, by the university... again, not naming competition...Anyway, the difference was like night and day! Not like other place, oysters were amazing!t The drink well poured and refreshing! And the company, Missoula genuine. If you want a loving, tended to, quality meal, and or just apps and drinks, Rumor is it!

For months I ordered Fish and Chips delivered to me. The good was delicious! Then the fish portions started to shrink with each dinner I paid for. The portions went from filets to fish sticks.Finally I decided to call in to find out what had happened to the meals! I was treated rudely by the young lady who answered the phone. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. She got angry with me and would not let me talk to anyone else. Then she told me to stop harassing their restaurant!!! I am 67 years old and have never been treated so awful. What are these people afraid of? The supervisor might start crying?!Now I order Fish and Chips from Jakes. The portions are filling and the staff are not dysfunctional. I highly recommend them!

Our recent trip to Rumour was excellent. I gave 4 stars because we’ve had a few previous visits that we’re not great but we like to give our local establishments our business.We sat at the bar. We received excellent service. The spicy chicken sandwich and dip were amazing! We also had the brussel sprouts tapas. It was delicious and big enough to share with a group of 6! It was large for the two of us but we devoured it because it was so good!
This place was fantastic. The soup was amazing and the bacon wrapped dates were also a must have. I will come back for sure every time I'm in Missoula. Also if you like carrot cake or even if you don't you NEED to order this.
