“The fried seafood is so good! The staff is super friendly! It's a family owned and run business. The owner comes around to each table making sure people are pleased. It's a small menu done well with fresh ingredients and an old southern atmosphere.”
“Food is amazing. It reminds so much of my childhood in New York minus all the noise. The owner is friendly and very welcoming and has amazing service. And if you want to taste a real New York hero, this is he place to try.”
“Husband and I purchased shakes today. I really enjoyed mine. We are big herbal life fans, so we were excited to find the shop. The only suggestion I would have is to use real fruits when possible. That made a heck of a difference in the shakes we had in KY.”
“We randomly eat at waffle house for a good breakfast-meal and today the SO said let’s try a local place, we’ve jsut been down here about 2 years and still settling in and learning the area - decided to try Ed’s as a Waffle House alternative and WOW! Even better than I could have expected, the eggs were perfect, the hash browns were SOOO good grilled crispy, they have red hots! As well as all other breakfast meats but of course that’s a southern mark to have red hots. Big cups of coffee, and a random that the bathrooms smell really good ? 11 out of 10 will return! Excellent experience”
“Nice little neighborhood bar! We enjoy going during the week for a break from cooking. The fish & chips are good! We enjoy the wings & giant pretzel as well. Friendly hosts & severs although service can be slow and food inconsistent on very busy nights. Only real complaint is that the place is extremely LOUD especially on nights when they have a band. Would definitely recommend trying it out!”
“Blue collar restaurant!Imagine your Grandma turned her house into a restaurant and invited her friends to come work with her! That's this restaurant. Grab a seat or take it to go! Sweet ladies that are very attentive! Our food came out fast! We got burgers, fries, and onion rings. It was delicious. They told us the burgers are hand padded. Delicious!”
“Stopped by for lunch yesterday and the FOOD was excellent. We got the special, an amazing Cuban with a loaded potatoe soup... Delicious! The place was hopping and the service was great, pleasant and attentive. We will be back and we can highly recommend this place.”
“Everyone there is so sweet! The young lady that answers the phone....she knows me as soon as I say "3 tacos Carne asada". Awesome people that work there!”
“We ate there for dinner on 3/20/24. The Italian sub and Stromboli were fantastic. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. The Stromboli is now my go-to dish. We would recommend this place 100%.”
“My husband and I ate here and service was very good(Lou) food was also. We took our leftovers to our motel and about 11pm my husband started to eat his burrito bitdown on something hard. It's was a hard piece of plastic or glass. Next day took it to the manager. His only concern was arguing with me if it was glass or hard plastic. My only concern was for him to check there work areas so nobody else would get it in there food. Very alarming!!! All he sad was.sorry”
“Local and hard working owners who work and cook there. Wonderful family. We love the lo mein, dumplings, veggies, chicken & shrimp dishes. Have eaten in and gotten food to go, both equally delicious and hot. Have returned, will continue to return.”
“Husband and I did a pickup order tonight for us and our sons for New Years. Smelled great when we walked in and very sweet staff that took our order. Our meals were all delicious. One son got the carne asada street tacos, I wish I’d taken pics they were beautiful lol. My husband got steak fajitas and we also got the quesadilla supreme dinner. Salsa and cheese dip so good and chips were warm and fresh. We got churros for desert both strawberry and Carmel, they were warm and so good too. Only took 10 mins and it was ready. We will be back!”
“I’ve ordered delivery several times from Papa’s, and they are so sweet! The pizza is decent but wow, I really love the cheesesteak and jalapeño poppers! Way better than a chain restaurant. Would recommend!”
“Anita’s tacos: Super mini Americanized tacos, like two pieces of cebolla and two leaves of cilantro and a dash of salsa, skinny slice of limonTaco loco: store bought tortillas, charge per every condiment, croquetas instead of carne, generous on condiments and salsa, 1/4 limon.Mexican restaurants: Don’t ever bother wasting the moneySan Luis: PERFECTION. Handmade tortillas, generous condiments, limes, salsa, fresh and hot 100%. Great service. Reasons why this is the only restaurant I order tacos from <3”
“Out of all the local places, Mi Cancun in Angier is a delightful location to have a meal. The food and drinks are very enjoyable in this kid friendly environment. I enjoy their meals compared to other places where the food is very salty. The rice and beans are very flavorable. The shrimp burrito is very welcoming to the palette.Parking: Parking is extraordinarily tight. If you drive a large SUV, enter the parking lot prepared to have your driving and parking skills tested.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly”
