“Called in for a Downeast Burger on the way to the river. Order was ready when they said it would be. Window attendant was prompt and friendly. The burger was outstanding. Not one to eat with your hand, you will need a plate and a few napkins. I will be doing this again!!”

“So I was in Havelock doing some work and saw this place on the map so we decided to stop by. The food was great. I had the Chamorro Fiesta with chicken and rice and shrimp patty’s and cucumbers. I couldn’t finish the portion I was given. And the lumpia was good too, so was the short ribs that my coworker let me try from his plate. I will definitely come back when I come to Havelock. The staff here were very friendly, very nice people. Stop by for good food.”

The meal was phenomenal, I had Carnitas, and the dining experience was top-notch. The salsa bar is always stocked and the drink refills were never requested. “Conveniently located on the main road in Oriental, NC, this restaurant offers good wraps and sandwiches. Prices are very fair. While they recently expanded and remodeled the interior, it looks cheaply done by the owners, not a professional carpenter.”

“One of the best parts about this brewery is the people who run it, there are few places like this where even at their busiest hour, they take the time to get to know their customers.Of course, since it was in the midst of the music festival, not only was the place filled, but they also had live music and food trucks.
