Ordered the fish of the day, Halibut. It was grilled to perfection and complimented with a delicious sauce. I could have had the rice salad, but chose fries!! This is a favorite of mine and it always is perfect.
When I realize I was coming to Asheville several weeks ago, I made up my mind to eat a 231 main. And we did, had been more that ten years that I have been there, but to my surprise everting at the restaurant was just as good or much better. Things on menus repaint from years ago. It is a place that I can spend $200.00 for two and be happy that I came with my lady. It was a very great meal and everyone was nice and very helpful

The best crab cake we've ever had by far. Crab cake is a little misleading in that it is mostly just crab! And high quality at that! Cornbread was pretty good and the club sandwich was delicious. Pretty pricey lunch but worth every penny.
