Was a bit disappointed in the food. Service was good. I originally ordered the fried chicken which came out so overcooked it was like chicken jerky. If you zoom in on that picture you can actually see it! Surprised that it was even plated let alone served. When asked what I would like instead, I responded "a less cooked pieceof fried chicken". I was told that they are all like that. So I chose the other type of buttermilk fried chicken breast patty. It was also a bit overcooked...read full review
The server was very friendly and helpful. The food was average,(fish sandwich,fries/chicken salad) but the macaroni and cheese was horrible. There was absolutely no spices used, and it had a soapy, mushy taste. They really need to put real butter on the table for the biscuits, instead of butter spread.

The food is always good, especially chicken livers! Last time, I got the chicken salad sandwich, and it was excellent. Big fat biscuits are served with homemade applebutter while you wait for your meal. Never been disappointed.
