The Salvage Station is easily the best music venue in Asheville. Every month I end up seeing a show here because they continuously provide an amazing experience and host amazing musicians.The grounds are organized in a way to make getting drinks, food , or a restroom break an absolute breeze. My favorite live music venue in Asheville. It's an old converted junk yard and feels like a mini festival when they have outdoor shows. Indoor winter shows are great sound but the outside stage definitely my favorite. They always book amazing local and regional acts and lean towards more of a funk, jazz, soul, blues, jam band fusion crowd. Great venue and outdoor space to linger before the concert. Drinks were reasonable, and the food was very good. I saw Christone " Kingfish" Ingram. Great show, good sound. The concert was broadcast to an outdoor screen by two firepits.
