If you’re local avoid this like the plague. Crowded, crazy, and shottty versions of local faves. Just go to the OGs. Yikes. I was craving my OG buxton hall chicken sando….that was not a thing, and highland was good, but overrun with rude rude rude tourist.

Nice concept but somehow just lacks any particular flair that would keep me coming back. Farm Dogs hot dog was very good!

This is such a cool space. Good restaurants and good beer upstairs. Gets a little loud, but that’s to be expected downtown. Worth the stop.

I recently stopped by this small food court for a quick bite, and it's perfect if you're in a rush. The menu offers limited but satisfying options, including chicken and fries, hot dogs and brats, as well as bao buns and empanadas. While the choices may be somewhat limited, they are tasty and suitable for a fast and casual meal. However, it's worth noting that this might not be the best choice for individuals with allergies or specific dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free) as the options are somewhat limited in terms of variety and customization.Dietary restrictions: If you are looking for gluten-free options, this food court is not a good choice. There are plenty of other spots in downtown Asheville that will better suit your needs.

Take a step back to the food court days! From the four food options we saw today we tried two of them. A little cheese and corn empanada snack from Mikasa Criolla was tasty if but just a tad over salted. We also enjoyed the chicken plate from Bun Intended. Excellently fried and crispy. Sauce was our favorite part of the dish.

i am frequently at this food place these days. I like the food very much and find the building charming, my only complaint is that the music is repetitive. I must have come three times and the same songs are playing. I also tried leaving a tip for the cleaning staff, they seemed to be working hard and who knows what they get paid but I could not find a tip jar and ended up giving cash directly. I would like to see some sort of container for them to collect tips in so that we can leave them money more discreetly. I prefer to reward work silently. anyway rock on thanks for the good chicken and interesting other options!
A couple options here at the market which varied between fried chicken, tai food, empanadas and a couple dessert foods. Buxton Chicken Palace is where I chose to ate the chicken tenders were very good. I didn’t enjoy the honey sugars but they had a very good white bbq sauce. It was a little busy so that might be why the wait was so long but I will say if I were in a rush I would’ve had to leave without my food bc it took about 30 minutes to get chicken tenders. The tai place was very good not many menu options but was fast and delicious. Upstairs there is plenty of seating and the highland brewery where you can buy beer.
The clerk at the ice cream place really helped me out of a bind. They were so kind to me. I didn't order any food but the place was very clean and there were lots of options. Great service.
