“Went to Venice Kitchen for first time last night. It certainly will not be the last. Three of us had three different dishes and they were all phenomenal! Service was friendly and quick. Gave 4 stars for atmosphere only because it is a little small, but everything was exceptionally clean and nice. Recommend highly!Parking: Able to park right out front.”

“We stopped for a quick snack and were Pleasantly surprised. It was sooo good. Fried oysters and fried fish bites- grouper were fantastic!! Very fast, friendly staff. She asked if we had been before, we told her no, she offered us samples. 10/10 recommend. They do offer a small beer selection. This could be a cool little hangout if they were open later.Kid-friendliness: Yard is fenced, several picnic tables and a Giant connect 4 game.”

“You MUST make a reservation on Monday & Tuesday. The buy one get one entrees are delicious. The shrimp and scallops pasta is a favorite with the country club crowd. If you like sushi, try the Yellow Fin Tuna, seared, medium rare. Mmm!Save room for dessert! Diners with gluten and dairy restrictions can enjoy a molten chocolate flourless cake.Free parking across the street. Go early for happy hour at the bar. The Island Grille is a culinary treat. “We love this place for great Mexican cuisine. Agree with other posts that the restaurant is very clean. Food is excellent & reasonable pricing. Myra is the best server. Maria very good server also. Nachos has 3 different superb sauces (hot to mild) to go with the pre-meal chips that are served warm. We enjoy the Chile Relleno a lot plus @ $5 it's a great price.Parking: It's next to Food Lion so lots and of free parking”

“I've loved this place since my first visit about 16 years ago. Fresh sliced meats, fresh bread, cheerful customization from the chief, Charles. His staff is always top notch, too! If you want a great, quick, fresh lunch, this is the absolute best place in AB. Don't let the tiny parking lot and line out the door dissuade you, the line moves fast and it's well worth walking another 50 feet to get in here!!”

“Literally the best breakfast in Carteret county. The breakfast sandwich is grilled instead of toasted. Service is always fast, fresh and friendly. I’ve had lunch here couple of times as well. The burgers are delicious. This is definitely my favorite spot.”

“An older establishment going more upscale. The food was phenomenal, the shrimp risotto was amazing as was the shrimp burger. Looking forward to making it to one of their wine tastings next season. Here’s to a new favorite at AB!”

“True New York pizza joint!!!! This place summed up: Great Pizza, Rude staff, cramped limited seating, with trash/bottles/cans stored in the open in a mess everywhere. Like NYC pizza joints? This is your spot! Smells great when you walk in, limited crappy menu options the wall. The older lady at the counter is rude and acts like it ruins her day when you walk in, with one word answers and stares at you. She rolls her eyes at me because I asked for an extra topping.This place is very clean but cramped with almost no seating, small booths/tables, and ingredients and drinks just aired out in the open. 1 crappy small TV you can't hear up in the corner and the guys in the back are mad and yelling at each other. The pizza is large sized, heavy on grease and tastes AMAZING!!!! Tons of parmaseaon cheese and other pizza amenities at the tables and on the back wall. This place is straight out of NYC and it is absolutely recommended!!!!”

“My family and I LOVE Roma pizza! It’s our absolute favorite every time we’re in AB. The garden salad with their house italian dressing is amazing and their pizzas are incredible. This may be my favorite pizza spot of all time and I miss it during the off season!”

“We had the fried shrimp, oysters and flounder with fries, hush puppies and slaw. The oysters were selects and cooked to perfection. The shrimp were about 21 count and the flounder were baby . The fry oil was fresh and the outside crisp and inside tender. The cook definitely knows his art. Staff are friendly and service excellent. A wonderful experience.”
