“On this gorgeous Good Friday, we came for early Easter brunch and everything was top notch! Two words: cannoli pancakes 5/5Thank me later! The breakfast tacos, sweet potato fries *drizzled with honey *, mimosa and blush (prosecco and strawberry puree) cocktails were all fantastic. The decor is charming, the place was hopping and our server was lightning quick. I am already looking forward to our next visit.”
“It's very good. Their tacos I have had a few times and have tried their quesadilla. They are all very good. The meat is well flavored and a higher quality steak is used compared to other places. I haven't been able to make it for half off on Taco Tuesday but it is awesome they have it. The staff is friendly and it is clean. I wish they used El Milagro taco shells but it is okay.”
“The food is amazing. Definitely try their breakfast and wraps. I also ordered the brownie and it's one of the best brownies I've ever had (not to sweet and not to thick). The service is on point, no mistakes and they were on top of picking up any dirty dishes. The decoration is very inviting and there are many items made by the Holy Angels on display and for sale. It's our first pick when we're in the area for breakfast and lunch. They also have a large outdoor area with lots of grass.”
“We ate breakfast on a Saturday. The parking lot was full. We went in anyway, and we didn't have to wait to set down. We didn't have to wait long to get our food. It was good and the service was great. If you want breakfast I would get there before 11:30 am. I think they get so busy at breakfast they have to complete their orders before they close. The best thing to do on Saturday is call before you go just to make sure they are still open.”
“The food was delicious but I have to say our server Brittany was exceptional. She was incredibly engaging, knowledgeable and had great follow up. Thank you Britany. We will be back!”
“Staff was great. Food was pretty good and ready quickly. Stayed for dessert and was not disappointed!Parking: Stone lot next door with a paved lot around back. Didn't have any issues finding a spot for dinner.”
“Wow!! Stopped in tonight for the jerk chicken. They are super nice and let me try a small piece before ordering. It was AMAZING!! Got the jerk chicken with collards and the rice and peas. Great portions and GREAT FLAVORS!! Two thumbs up on this one. Will be back for the ribs and the oxtail. Glad you guys are in Belmont!”
“Stumbled on this place looking for a lunch spot when in the area for business. Food was amazing and a different take on southern classics.Service was great, the manager Chris and bartender Choice were super friendly”
“Friday night my husband and I decided to kick off the weekend by trying a Chopped Champion's food truck. If you're on the hunt for the ultimate burger and sandwich, you can find it here. We arrived shortly before they were done for the night. As a result, they were sold out of their fish sandwiches. I was bummed because it's the only thing I wanted to try. My husband ordered the Double Bacon Swiss. I'm not really into spicy food, but I'm also the type who doesn't like ordering the exact same thing, so I opted for the Hot Chicken Smash.I'm not a chef, a cook, a baker, or a grill master. When I take a bite of food, I can't readily tell you every single ingredient I taste. That being said, my perspective on this burger and chicken sandwich won't have tons of detail. In a nutshell, the food was a chef's kiss emoji, a praise hands emoji, and the fire emoji. Seriously. After we both took one bite of the burger and one bite of the chicken sandwich, we agreed to split them because they were both sooo good. This is what I expect to taste when I'm feeling like a burger or sandwich at a nice restaurant. Flavor-filled, high-quality food. I can't tell you much more about it, other than the burger had lots of bacon on it and the chicken sandwich was HOT. My husband said it had "some kick." But I don't typically eat spicy food so my mouth was on fire. And I still ate all of my half because it was just that good. After the first bite, I completely forgot about being bummed out because they sold out of fish. If we're ever within a drivable distance from this truck and hungry, we'll return and try more of their menu.”
“Joe's Touch of ItalyI shared their post about lunch specials a while back, but I’d never tried them. After driving by to pick up my son from school for two years, I decided that today was a great day to give it a go!We got an early dinner with a small pepperoni pizza, a small supreme w/o ham or sausage (it’s a cheaper version than building your own with everything else that comes on it), a large veggie pizza, garlic knots and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls.Everything was fresh and delicious! Great char to the crust, great flavor, real bacon, spicy pepperonis, just overall great tasting food. Crust is a thinner crust that’s crunchy and chewy in all the right places. I’d only enjoy more cheese, but it’s a solid pizza. The garlic knots weren’t my fave, I like a little more yeasty doughiness, but the marinara is money! The egg rolls could use some onion and green pepper, but they were flavorful-a little over cooked, but good.I live off Union/Armstrong, and everything was still piping hot when it got home. This is our favorite pizza so far. And, we’ve tried a few.#SupportLocal#supportsmallbusiness”
“I get takeaway. It is a small space and definitely made more for takeaway than for sitting inside. However, it is absolutely delicious. I get the poke bowls and hibachi and eat the poke bowl one night and hibachi the next. I have tried the existing poke bowls and they were all good. But now I make my own. The portions are good sized, the veggies and meats are fresh and I get a ton of the toppings. I love the hibachi as well and often get the chicken, but the chicken and steak is great!I eat here once every week to two weeks and have had consistent quality, portions, and service for the many months I have been doing so.They are fast and I usually grab some groceries from the Harris Teeter right there, grab dinner at Mama Poke Bowl and go!Vegetarian options: There are many offerings to add to a poke bowl or even make a salad bowl.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat wheat but am not gluten intolerant. I find all yhe veggies fresh and feel great after eating here.”
“Had an excellent meal/experience here. There wasn't a line so my service was fast. The food was excellent. Pad Kraw Paw I beleive is what I tried. First time trying the dish, and it was wonderful. The serving size was fantastic and the temp was excellent.I tend to like spicy food and asked for a level 1 out of ten to be safe. Based on this spice level, I think they could could crank it up, so I'd advise being cautious with that ? Amazing find though, try it.”
“The food! Oh my gosh the food!! Low carb chicken tikka masala was SO DELICIOUS!! And everything else we had was perfect too. Vibe is great with indoor and outdoor options for seating. Excellent tap and bottle beer selection tooThe bartenders were fast and confident. We can’t wait to come ”
“I’m from out of town and feel super lucky we found this place!! Nice bar/ restaurant with an awesome staff. Food was really good and arrived in a timely manner. We will be back!!”
“Food was super yummy! Had small plates and shared cocktails were superb!! Wait staff attentive and friendly. Very small place so get reservations or expect to wait. A tad ”
