“If you haven’t tried Rose and Rae’s, the next time you are in Burlington you should! They are a certified gluten free kitchen, and diabetic friendly bakery. We drive from Greensboro regularly, and have enjoyed the savory items, as well as the sweet treats! With no sugar added, and very low carbs, as a diabetic I’m able to eat the food with no spike in my blood sugar. The best part, it’s all delicious…..and you’d never know it wasn’t a “regular” meal or dessert. Support local, small business and enjoy a healthy, delicious product…..all at the same time!“

The service is great, Betty friendly and professional and I've never gotten an order that I didn't like or was wrong in any way. It's my regular breakfast omelet go-to and as a newcomer here to Burlington, having a good spot to go and start the day offwith a good meal is suuuuper important! “First time going their and the food looks amazing. I got the Philly and it was decent but the veggies needed to be cooked a bit longer for tenderness and it could use some seasoning. Even with mayo the sandwich with cheese was slightly bland. The bun was amazing though. I will come back to try other dishes everything looks amazing especially breakfast.“

“I was visiting my friend in Burlington and my mom asked me to stop at Mayflower on my way home. I know their seafood is not good, so I asked my friend about this place. She stated it's good, so I pivoted and got seafood from here. My mom loved it!even after she had to heat it back up. Since we are an hour away. She stated she doesn't normally like restaurants coleslaw slaw but she enjoyed theirs. She also stated the fish was fried perfectly and the oysters were great. I knew it was good when she mentioned she would drive to Burlington to get some seafood (she doesn't like to drive) so it sounds like we will be back!“

I was NOT expecting what I received…From the moment I walked in I was greeted pleasantly with smiles and welcomes!I was immediately seated by a super fabulous waitress who was extremely attentive. I had to wait no more than 10 minutes after I was seated that my breakfast came out. I was shocked at the amount of food I received, a pancake that covered the entire plate, omelette with lots of stuffings, hash browns cooked perfectly and the coffee was so fresh! I love love love this place and will be coming back. Kudos to the cooks and the staff for a wonderful experience!“
“2 ate for 76.86 before tip including an appetizer. Very nice atmosphere. Nice date night or just a higher class place to sit and quietly talk and enjoy a meal. Obvious chef flair. The Salmon was perfect and the combination of asparagus and spinach and grains were an excellent pairing. The Shrimp and Grits were great - they aren't spicy and had a subtle flavor - different and very good. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was just okay, not bad just okay. The men's room was clean and fresh air. We left Content, relaxed and enjoyed a peaceful discussion while eating.“
