“I just love the joints that make you feel like stepped into some kind of time warp. Boston Sandwich Shop is just that. Once I was greeted by that cigarette machine at the front door, I knew I was going to love this place. Great Service! Got a great story from the guy at the counter. Dogs were solid. Slaw and onions were nice, dog was good and hot and the bun was fresh. The chili was a bit off. Tasted like it's been in the pot for a decade or two... or three. Is enough to scare me away from returning? No chance!“
“Food is great! You have to wait in a line and give them your order. There is indoor seating. Weekends are very busy. I've only eaten there twice, first time was a Saturday dine in and was very busy, food was good but had to wait quite awhile for it. But I was there during the week midday and git a reuben and potato salad to go and barely any wait time and it was amazing!“
“It wasn't all that welcoming. The cashier wasn't so friendly she seemed like she had a long day remember this is just my opinion on this day. And my husband said that he wanted everything on his sandwich except mayo he got no lettuce, tomato or onions.“
“Very good customer service!!! The 3 people that worked here was very efficient, fast, & professional!!!I had just went to the one on South Church street which sucked!! 3 people working at that one, 3 people working at this branch & got their job done professionally!!Great team work & good friend!I will definitely be back as hopefully the older lady on south church could learn from them & how to multitask would be a blessing!Furthermore when I was a shift leader a lot of my help didn’t come in on time or called out. What I had to do was to serve the customers and run that store by myself until help came in.People are more prone to being understandable when you treat them with respect“
“I go here regularly. They make a great sub and the men are very kind. But, the area is scary. Lots of gross ghetto people in the area, and sometimes they cause trouble. You need to stay armed when going here. I wish they'd move to a safer spot, but the subs are worth the risk.“
“The food was amazing, the staff are fantastic, I had no problems with the order itself. The only problem I had was, and I know this is gonna be a weird thing to complain about, when they finish the sandwiches and put them on the pickup shelf they put them in the bag to where the sandwiches are standing on end. Because of this all of the juices in the sandwich rush to that end of the sandwich soaking it and I get a giant soggy glob on one end of my sandwich. I know this is weird thing to complain about but sometimes it takes me a bit to get from my office to the store and the sandwich just sits there getting soggier and soggier on one end of the thing. Like I said everything else about this place is fantastic, I just wanted to do something about the soggy bread thing“
“My only complaint is that everybody but the person who I believe to be the owner does not seem to know what shredded mozzarella cheese is. Whenever I'm in the drive through if it's not the owner, I get straight up shredded cheese like what you would put on a taco. This is the only problem I have with this subway location.“
“Went into this Subway to grab a quick lunch. While I was in line, the person in front of me was extremely rude to the employee working who seemed to be the only person working at the time. I would never speak to a stranger the way this lady spoke to the employee. The employee handled this customers disrespect very professionally and tried to get the rude customer out quickly. Remember, be kind to the people who chose to show up.“
“Jennifer suggested the steak and cheese and Jonathon made me the best steak and cheese sub that I have ever eaten. They were even kind enough to let me try their house made chocolate chip cookie. I highly recommend this location. Keep up the great work!“
“Southbound is a great little sandwich shop located within the Correct Time Plaza. Perfect spot for Sunday lunch. There are no servers at the restaurant, you order with the cashier, choose and fill your drink, then pick a table. They will call out your number whenever it is ready for pickup at the window. They have railroad memorabilia around the shop to look at, which is definitely interesting. Their soups and sandwiches are all delicious! Not too fancy, but not too casual of a place. It lands perfectly in the middle. I definitely recommend South Bound!“
