Despite the mixed and low reviews, my experience at Genki's was a pleasant one. Our waitress was very sweet and accomdating during our visit from start to end.As for the food, it was honestly delicious!
Maybe its because I haven't had sushi since before the pandemic but this place was an awesome find for the area. Fresh, tender sushi that held up its shape when grabbed with chopsticks. Good variety of both rolls and nigiri/sashimi. Service was amazing despite me being a lone party of one. Attentive, knowledgeable server who seemed to genuinely care about my wellbeing after slamming multiple of the best priced sapporo I've found in the triangle. Best sushi in Raleigh, hands down. Genki has essentially made all other sushi places I've eaten at taste horrible. We drive 30 minutes out of our way just to come here instead of anywhere else. Most definitely recommend. Also the only time I ever leave reviews is when I'm leaving a 1 star so trust me, the sushi is bangin. Habachi is pretty average tho.
