Our appetizer & entrees were outstanding/delicious and service was very good. Per our request, we were seated in the “quietest” area of the restaurant, which was still pretty active but acceptable noise level - the dining rooms are fairly small (it's an old house converted to a restaurant) with tables fairly close together, so expect a fair amount of chatter from other diners' conversations. We will definitely return for the exceptional food.
Our dinner at this restaurant was really nice. The sushi that we had was top notch, very fresh and tasty. We also had a main giant shrimp plate that was amazing as well. The ribeye main was very plain and came on a hot stone., a bit awkward. I was expecting more flavor based on the description. The service and everything else was really worth the premium cost, I'm sure we'll be back. My recommendations would be to stick to the seafood, that seems to be their strong suit. We've been coming to MC for years, and I still like it...but I feel like the food quality has taken a bit of a nose dive the past two times we've gone. Our favorite rolls were just ok. And prices are getting a bit high. Service was good, almost too fast! We had drinks, appetizers and dinner and were in and out in 45 minutes!
