“Came here with my mom while she was in town. We had the ribs, shrimp tacos, and Julius peppers. The food was great and the service was great, our waitress's name was Leah, I think. We sat on the second level area which was pretty cool. Lots of TV's with great games on. Got to watch Denver vs BC frozen four while we were eating. I think we came in a little before the big dinner rush. Overall, a solid experience.Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options for a lot of stuff. And a wide variety of menu items to choose from so you can probably find something.“
“Tina and Emily are the best servers I have ever had. I haven’t seen them in a while, but when i used to come here fairly frequently they were always my servers. I was so impressed by their enthusiasm and kindness. The managers Daniel and Ryan are also so kind. Thank you for such a wonderful atmosphere!“
“We love the patio at the location on Fayetteville Road. It is quiet and green, away from the traffic. Their crab cakes are excellent, filled with crab rather than fillers. I had a Greek salad with a Crab cake on top and it was delicious! Service outside is always attentive, which is often not the case with outdoor dining.“
“Service and atmosphere is amazing!!! My husband is in the hospital at Duke University Hospital and I came here to feel better and I’ve never made a better decision! Had a couple shots and the owner even bought me one! (Don’t expect that though)LOL They were so caring and actually had a conversation with me and it made me feel so welcomed and I appreciated it so much. I’m going to be leaving much happier than I was when I got here. For sure. y’all want somewhere to come hang out where you feel welcomed then come here! They have pool tables and table hockey or whatever it’s called. A good beer selection too. Wings are on the menu! Which is what I’m gonna come back for later in the week!!“
“Dined here last night and at 5:30 there was a 30 minute wait. Didn't expect that but we had no where else to be so we waited. Have dined here from time to time over the years and its simple restaurant food at a fair price. My husband had the fried oysters- it was a smaller size order than we remembered it being but considering what we have paid for oysters recently it was a good deal. Nice size oysters, not too big and not tiny ones either. A medium light batter. Says comes with fries and Cole slaw but can substitute other items at no extra cost. Ordered mashed potatoes and a side salad. I had shrimp and grits with thin slices of what looked like kielbasa. Has good flavor and worth what we paid. Came with a side salad. We had key lime pie for dessert, Could have been a little tangier But home made and it was descent. Atmosphere in the main dining room is a bit crowded, it's one of the things that keeps me from coming back, I sorta feel like cattle being herded into a room. They have a bar area with tables but you can only sit at the bar if seats are available the tables are used doe regular seating. I prefer to sit at the tables in the bar area. This area seems to be filled with regulars. If your looking for decent food at a reasonable price give this place a try.“
“The food here is consistently delicious and the staff is always friendly.I decided to try the Mondo burger, named for Tar Heel Armando Bacot. I was hoping it would be good, but it was great! Seriously. The burger is cooked as you like and topped with their house made BBQ sauce, which is amazing, smoked gouda cheese, smoked Applewood bacon, onion straws and lettuce and tomato. Yes, it's very filling, somewhat messy, and so good.“
