Very unique experience, love the rustic interior of the restaurant. We also were very lucky and were seated right next to the fire place to increase the ambious.Food was cooked to perfection and the cheese plate was an added bonus. No restaurants do this now.Really enjoyed our visit.
Food is always epic! The service typically is as well. In my 20+ years coming here, I've never once had a bad meal. The salads are always fresh, steaks always cooked perfect with a nice sear, baked potatoes always cooked perfect. My only gripe reflects my aging parents more than anything, just wish it was a little brighter and there was a way to quite the noise down a bit. The atmosphere is part of the experience though, definitely really nostalgic and what attracts a lot of people.

If you’re from Chapel Hill then you already know of the Farm House restaurant! Our first date (back in 2019) was here and we went there today to celebrate our 5 years together! The crudite platter is perfect for nibbling while sipping on a cold beer. Our ribeyes were cooked just like we asked and our waitress took good care of us! Thankfully we arrived right before the crowd hit.
