I'm a bit of a Mexican food snob. I've lived in the triangle area for almost 20 years and had never found a really good Mexican restaurant until now. This place ranks right up there with the better Mexican restaurants in the Denver area -- my home town.Food and service are outstanding. Only downsides are the place could use a bit of a remodel and it's 35 minutes from South point in Durham.

I don't know how they do it. All the food is authentic, consistent, and delicious. Fast, friendly, accommodating service includes no hassle, no extra charge substituons -- which makes fussy diets much more possible than you can imagine for Mexican food. Keto is especially easy. Big surprise! When I drooled into my plate this time, I realized that the $14 cost with full service was FAR cheaper and more delicious than what it costs me to replicate this dish from scratch with everything...read full review
