It was OK. Nothing to write home to mama about. The shrimp and grits was just shrimp and grits. The mimosas were OK. I thought it would be getting top of the line when ordering the Cadillac version. But…. May have just been a bad day. Will try again cause I feel they have some potential. Just not today.
The waiter dropped food on my suit and said nothing. Either he didn't notice or he didn't care, I don't know which is worse. The food was decent but we had to send back the salmon as it was initially overcooked and very dry. The UC Caesar salad could benefit from anchovies but avoided disaster by having small mild peppers resembling tomatoes that added an interesting flavor.
