“Visited midday and was seated promptly. Order the four meat platter and paid the additional $5 to substitute one of the meats for burnt ends. Of course the burnt ends were by far the best meat they offered. Our server recommended the broccoli casserole which was delicious! The bacon-wrapped jalapenos were delicious as well! We found the Banana pudding to be too sweet. Restaurant was clean. Service was great. Highly recommend the burnt ends!“
“*Yes this is a high end place. But the food is very much worth it.Food is phenomenal.*Any Steak you get is going to be amazing. My Seak was perfect Medium Rare, sooo tender and the flavor is going to be hard to match at any other steak house. They absolutely nailed The perfect Steak.*The Corn & Mac And Cheese both phenomenal could eat bowl after bowl of just those.*A nice selections of Wine, Mixed Drinks and straight Alcohol. When you come to Steak 48, make sure you come hungry because you will leave full.HIGHLY RECOMMEND *****“
“Superb restaurant!I’ve loved First Watch in other states- and this is my first time at this one.Top quality food, great atmosphere & excellent service!I highly recommend the works omelette- if you like meat and mushrooms! Mmm!Their French toast is top notch as well- I recommend putting in some extra cinnamon for that Wow factor!I will certainly be returning in the near future and recommend that you give it a try as well!“
“We did The Treatment on this visit and loved everything they served. This is the chef's tasting....you can pick what % you'd like as seafood vs meat. We did 75% fish/seafood and were happy with the balance. Great drinks, amazing service by Tanya!“
“Eat at Pinky's. Eat at Pinky's. I kept hearing this, so made the stop. The spot itself is cool, eclectic, fun.It was busy so I grabbed a bar spot.Ordered the Ding Dong Chicken and really enjoyed it. It's unique, a crunchy PB, chicken, and cilantro slaw sammy.I'd definitely say to give it a shot if you're in town.“
“This place was fancy! Everybody dressed to the nines, live DJ and great music, and a nice dim atmosphere for groups who are celebrating, or for a date. Good food too, and good drinks!Parking: It was a little hard to figure out where the entrance to the hookah lounge was; from the parking lot go up the stairs to the left hand side“
“Really cool spot. Lots of dry ice effects, and creative presentation. The food is really good, too (the most important part). I had the Cajun grilled oysters that were fantastic. So much flavor in one bite. And I have no idea what kind of sauce they give you with them, but it pairs really nicely with everything. I, also, had the Kings crab company dish with a decent portion of King crab, a small salad and some potatoe wedges. The crab was cooked perfect and tasted great with the garlic butter, which had diced garlic in it. A really nice pairing with the buttery crab meat. A bit over priced for what it was, however. Basic potato wedges, with no sauce, and a pretty small basic salad. For dessert I had the Godiva brownie with ice cream. Again, amazing brownie. Super soft and moist, and not so rich that you couldn't eat it all. However, the 4 bites of ice cream just isn't enough to go with the size of the brownie. Also, no arm towels or even wet naps after the oysters and crab. Overall a great meal and experience, though. Just a couple of kinks that I feel could be addressed.“
“Great place, first time trying it for my gfs bday. Its a nice fancy restaurant that is not too stuffy. The food and service are good and the prices some of the better ones around. Could use an extra item or 2 on the menu more kid/basic dude eating friendly and another dessert or two. We had a great time and it was a great find, we will certainly be back“
“Wonderful food and atmosphere! Really well managed and our server ASHLEY was tremendous. Didn’t even need to write down our orders for 7 people and got each one perfectly! Amazing assistance by other team members as well. From the hosts to the lovely woman working the cash register, a terrific service team. Thank you to all for making our family breakfast so delicious and enjoyable! We LOVE this location!“
“I usually order wings and fries. I tried their burger and fries also. When I do order, its freshly made. Buffalo hot wings are my favorite! Never had to complain about an order or service. The place is bright and clean. Hope this helps. Try Chex, good food!Vegetarian options: Salads are available and other non meat sides“
“Love this place! Lot's of benefits to this place. The food comes out fast. No matter what it is. I ordered the fried calamari and OMG!! It was very delicious. It was fried nicely, light and crispy. I felt like I was eating fried chicken, pork rinds, and calamari all in one. It doesn't need seasoning. And if you add a squeeze of lemon juice, OMG amazing!I ordered the pork Belly. The pork belly was okay in my opinion. I don't like sweet sauce and the sauce was a bit too tangy for my liking. But other people may like it. That's just my personal opinion.I ordered the chicken rangoons. They were okay. I needed a bit more seasoning or salt.I ordered the Lamb chops for dinner. And they were amazing! The way they cooked that with a nice crisp and cooked medium rare and the flavor OMG!!! It came with a salad with feta cheese and a vinegarette dressing. I didn't really care for the salad on the side. Normally I would have because of the mixed greens and the feta cheese but I don't like sweet dressing.Overall, a super fantastic place!! I will be back!!Vegetarian options: I didn't really see any.Dietary restrictions: I didn't really see any.Parking: Paid street parking and paid garage parking is available.Kid-friendliness: It is kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.“
“I've been wanting to try this place for so long! (I'm usually a famous toastery kinda girl lol)I am sold ! The million dollar bacon? Worth at least 2 million! The Hawaiian French toast.... so good! Luis our server gave excellent suggestions and was very patient with my husband's picky requests (much for patient that myself lol) . We will definitely be back to eat again!“
“We had a great brunch at Haberdish. The biscuits and gravy, grits, and chicken and waffles hit the spot. It is the exact place you crave when you want a hearty brunch. The gin and juice was simple, yet refreshing. The patio was a great way to soak up the nice weather and atmosphere of Noda.“
“Indulging in a girls' night out at Papi Queso was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in a vibrant atmosphere, this establishment seamlessly blends the warmth of a cozy eatery with the excitement of a bustling social hub. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the aroma of melted cheese and a warm welcome from their entire team- setting the stage for an amazing girls' night. The menu boasted an impressive array of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and their $8.00 Frozen Rosey (Friday Night Special) promising a feast for both the palate and the soul. For starters, we couldn't resist diving into their signature Garlic Aioli sauce a perfect pair for their Garlic Tots, it was the perfect opening act for what was to come.As we savored each bite of our chosen Texas Cheesesteak grilled cheese sandwich, it became evident that Papi Queso is not your average grilled cheese joint. The combination of premium ingredients and inventive flavor combinations elevated these classic comfort foods to a whole new level. To complement our meal, we sampled their $8.00 refreshing Frozen Rosey. What truly set Papi Queso apart, however, was the impeccable service and vibrant atmosphere. The staff exuded warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked up and sat at their bar. The lively ambiance, complete with the chatter of fellow diners, added to the overall sense of camaraderie and celebration. In conclusion, our girls' night out at Papi Queso was nothing short of extraordinary. Whether you're craving a gourmet grilled cheese fix or simply seeking a fun and vibrant dining destination, Papi Queso is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you craving more.“
“Sunday Brunch was a success today! Thank you ASH, our incredible server and new friend! The food could have been trash and I still would rate the place 5 stars because of her! So fun!funny! Attentive! Great personality that was genuine!I ordered a mimosa—it was good! Classic taste! I tried the honey suckler daiquiri, that was really tasty! Just wish it was frozen! The beignets were AMAZING! We had to order two orders of them lmao I should have gotten a 3rd order to go!I ordered the Charlotte Hot Brown ($24 Stacked French Toast, Fried Chicken, Sweet Maple, Gravy, Grilled Tomatoes, Aged Cheddar, Crispy Bacon, Sunny Egg). I had the gravy on the side and asked the egg to be fried hard! It was really tasty! The atmosphere was great! Energetic but not overwhelming. Can’t wait to come back for dinner“
“Great service, great food, great atmosphere, but not fun parking experience. I think they have a lot in the back, but we just parked on the street. It was such a beautiful night and they had the windows open. Waitress made sure our drinks were never empty.“
“We've been coming here religiously ever since we moved to Charlotte, and it's the first place we suggest when we have people visit. I've never had a bad meal here. The food is always delicious, and the Well-Fed platter is one of the best deals in town. The only complaint I have is that they are missing a southern staple: fried okra. That would make it an 11/10.“
“I came across this breakfast restaurant while searching for a place that serves delicious, home-style breakfast. I am delighted that I decided to dine at this establishment; the food is reminiscent of my great grandmother's cooking. The restaurant is quite crowded, but the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a delightful breakfast experience. Although it may not be the most luxurious or well-known place, the quality of the food is truly remarkable.“
“We had Easter Brunch here this year and it was absolutely perfect! We had Oysters Rockefeller, and Salmon Carpaccio for appetizers. I had the Benedict with Brussels and my husband had the Croche Madame. Both were perfectly prepared. Stuart took great care of us and we’ll be back asap.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggies on the menu!!Parking: Parking deck directly beside restaurant.Kid-friendliness: If your kid knows how to stay in their chair, this is a super kid friendly spot!Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessed by wheelchair.“
“Really, really solid option especially during Savor. For $50/person, you get a three course meal. And these aren’t skimpy portions either like what some restaurants do during Queens Feast. These are proper, regular sized dishes.Every restaurant can choose how they want to approach Savor. I liked how 300 set up their menu with one old trustee option (current menu) and one new option for each course. Between my partner and I, we were able to try everything. Here’s our take:StartersBaked Goat Cheese (old trustee): I see why this is a fan favorite. The cheese is baked with good olive oil, sun dried tomatoes, and garlic. Comes with a baguette, but I preferred dipping my biscuit instead (more on that below).Biscuit Flight (new item): Comes with three biscuits!! As well as three savory dips that are made in house. The dips were okay but as aforementioned using the goat cheese like a spread was the move for me.MainsSesame Salmon (old trustee): I actually make a dish similar to this at home, so it didn’t blow my mind but my partner liked it well enough.Roasted Half Chicken (new item): Had a nice roasted, crispy skin. Came with a garlic jus gravy and veggies. If you are carbed out from the apps, this is a good option. Again, simple but good.DessertIce Cream Sandwich (old trustee): If I could handle my caffeine after 12pm, I would have definitely eaten more of this. The espresso ice cream paired so well with the maple oatmeal cookie. Glad to know it’s a regular on the menu so I can come back and get it for an early lunch.Cheesecake (new item): Get the ice cream sandwich.“
“I have travelled to Charlotte twice in the last 2 years for work, and I always make a point to stop here to eat. Everything I've had has been amazing, drinks and food included. Potatoes au gratin are phenomenal, short ribs are delicious. It's dark inside, but otherwise fun with lots of seating and 2 floors. Would 10/10 recommend!“
“Had a great experience, even though the wait was an hour and a half, Joshua was our server and he apologized for the wait time, but from there he made his recommendations and he took care of the four of us with ease and comfort. Food was goood and the atmosphere was fantastic. Just wish the place was a little biggger but it was wonderful. Will be coming back“
“We visited the Metro Diner located on Pineville-Matthews Rd. for the first time. We were greeted by Amber, the Kitchen Manager. She was very friendly and suggested specific items for us to order. My husband and I ordered the signature chicken and waffles, croissant French toast and our girls ordered the Belgian waffle and bacon omelette with hashbrowns. The chicken was delicious! The waffles were fluffy and the croissant French toast was wonderful. My daughter's omelette was filled with thick and crispy bacon. We'll definitely be back!“
“Had an excellent meal here with a co-worker. Great relaxed upscale atmosphere for friends family or work. Our server Julia pointed us in a targeted direction which meant I tried the Carolina Rainbow trout which was outstanding down to the herb aioli which was beyond good and the kale salad perfectly dressed. We also got the grilled artichokes -they tasted yum - and my friend got the Danish baby back ribs which literally fell off the bone. Our drinks were a generous and tasty pour and we had excellent cappuccino for our dessert- but what the other tables got looked divine- we just are trying to eat a little healthier so skipped it tonight“
“This place is amazing, great option for a date with a foodie! The staff is attentive, food is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxed yet refined. It’s a small place so it’s not so loud that you can’t have a conversation at your table. There was no rush to finish and I cannot wait to go back again! I truly appreciate it that one of the first questions we were asked was whether or not there were any food allergies that the chef needed to be made aware of. Chef Sam actually came table side to deliver some of the food and chat with us. Briefly, I look forward to having a deeper conversation with him and his staff about what they do there. Such a great experience.Dietary restrictions: The staff asked whether or not there were dietary restrictions or allergies as soon as we were seated and reviewing the menu.Parking: Sufficient parking in front of the building.“
“Dining at Counter- was a transformative experience, blending nostalgia with culinary innovation across a 10-course meal that left me in awe. Chef Sam Hart and team reimagined fast food classics into gourmet masterpieces, from a one-bite Crunchwrap Supreme to a final ode to The Varsity's "Frosted Orange." The attention to detail in the presentation and the knowledge of the sommeliers added layers of enjoyment. Highlights included a Sonic-inspired Cherry Limeade hamachi, McDonald's-inspired Filet o Fish, and a dessert course combining McDonald's Apple Pie with Dairy Queen's Blizzard. The intimate setting allowed for personal interaction with the chefs, making the meal not just a dinner, but an unforgettable experience. It's a culinary journey that's absolutely worth the splurge, showcasing the exciting food culture developing in Charlotte.“
“We had a good time at Leah & Louise, with excellent service from Aja (sorry if I spelled your name wrong.) we loved the cornmeal brioche, a revelation, and the oxtail was very good too. The mussels were tasty but the vinegar was a bit strong for delicate mussels in my opinion. I especially enjoyed a mocktail they made for me with the spiced hibiscus syrup.“
“I recommend this place for a special date, or meet with friends, the food is delicious and the bar This place is very nice decorated and I recommend it also for its special and complete bar. The food I had is a ribeye , grilled artichokes, and as a starter I asked for stack tuna. The drink was a “perfection martini”“
“Very good BBQ. The brisket was tender and juicy. The greens were a little too spicy for me but still delicious. The hush puppies were good too. The brunt ends were amazing. The pickles were spicy too but good. I definitely recommend this place if your nor from Charlotte NC.“
“Easter brunch with their seasonal menu. Chips & quacamole ✔️ Smokehouse platter with beef brisket & BBQ rotisserie chicken; brisket was good?but the chicken was just just so-so. Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas; seafood tasted fresh. Ginger's Best Friend; ok but next time think I'd try the Botanical Mule. Service was good.“
“Great wings! I was looking for a decent price wings in the area and came across this place. The wings are great. thousands of flavors to choose from and the fries are well seasoned with seasoned salt. You can choose extra crispy wings as an option which is great because most places you’re not sure if they’re gonna come out crispy or not“
“There is ample seating outside as well. We love that you can see the greenery outside.I had the steel cut oatmeal and a bowl of fruit. My husband had the french toast plate with 2 over easy eggs. Everything was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh. Our server, Sean was exceptional.Overall this was an awesome experience.I also got a veggie burger with greens to go.I am looking forward to returning soon.“
“Great food and great experience as a first timer.Despite the very crowded bar, the service was decent. The food was great. Tried the "hot chicken" sandwich, that I found wonderful if you can handle heat. The jalapeño firecracker appetizer was also delicious. I'm looking forward to going back to try a burger.“
“I’ve had 3 meals there while traveling on business. This is an exceptional place for friendliness where so many people seem to be regulars and are called by their name. Chef T runs the kitchen staff and was ensuring everything got out fast and hot. I can honestly say nobody but Chef T has ever been able to cook my eggs the way I asked plus when I asked for crispy bacon, I got it. I even heard him in the kitchen telling the staff and it was right! Melanie served me the last time and she was as efficient and friendly as they come and provided lots of attention to all her customers. I do like that numerous servers ensured my cup of coffee was always filled. From preparing and serving delicious meatloaf and greens to sausage gravy and breakfast, they all work hard. And they do an amazing amount of takeout orders which I witnessed. Good job!“
“First off i truly like the concept of for every meal purchased a meal is provided for a child in an improvised country. Second their food and prices are good. You have about a dozen taco options with different tortilla options. You have various sides and nacho chip options. I enjoyed my food and time dining here.“
“Amazing burgers ! Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and delicious. The staff is awesome and very helpful. When they say try the mustard - try the mustard !!! The only downside is that it was chilly out and there wasn’t indoor seating available. Loved it and will be back !!“
“Came here for brunch after my wedding in 2021. Best breakfast ever, hands down! The pancake sampler was awesome and especially the pineapple upside-down pancake ? taking off one star for atmosphere due to long wait times to be seated (60+ minutes) , which I’m sure is beyond their control. The place is just that popular.“
“What an outstanding dining experience! My lovely date and I were immediately taken with the ambiance, as soon as we walked in. The feeling of a well-run establishment was palpable. Bradley was just awesome, took great care of us, and made special note of my date's dietary restrictions and made accommodations accordingly. The food was amazing! The lamb shank dish instantly made this restaurant our new favorite in Charlotte. The green curry mussels were absolutely the best I've ever had (and I'm not a fan of any bivalve mollusk except scallops). Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a wonderful experience.“
“A wonderful neighborhood pub set in the 4th Ward. We walked from our hotel experiencing the change from city to quiet historic neighborhood. Even late on a Wednesday, it was quite busy and we waited a bit for a table. The food was delicious and service was friendly. I'm glad we found this hidden gem.“
“Ruby Sunshine is my FAVORITE brunch spot in Charlotte!! Tasha was my waitress today and the service was so amazing!! She checked on us many times to make sure we had what we needed. I'll be back and hope I have Tasha as a waitress. Best experience today.“
“If you haven't yet, make sure that you treat your mouth to a beautiful time at Romeo and Juliet Pizzeria. Not only was the food delicious (All of the highest quality ingredients, expertly prepared), the service was SO good. We met Katrina, the owner, who talked us through the menu, made fabulous recommendations, and then told us stories about the restaurant, how they came to North Carolina, we met her daughter who also works at the shop. It was fantastic. If you want to experience what a pure and authentic family owned pizzeria should aspire to be, then you MUST put this on your list of dining destinations.“
“High end food! Very expensive! Lobster roll was so good I wouldn't be surprised if the chef behind the counter was controlled by that Ratatouille fella. However the aesthetic of the area lends itself to a multitude of young clearly spoiled teenagers. If you have an aversion to such Tom foolery reserve the whole place out before eating. If you're planning to eat here you can afford the reservation anyways buddy“
“We've been here a bunch and keep coming back. FOOD: All yum! Pay the extra $4 for fresh pasta. Apps: The Prosciutto and Burrata is a yum appetizer. We also like the little dish of beans that come with the complimentary bread. You get one complimentary refill of bread, then they charge you. Entrees: Our favorite dish is the Buttara. Amatriciana is another favorite of mine. Hubs also likes Penne Alla Vodka with Shrimp. My dad likes the Chicken Parmesan (note it doesn't come with pasta, thats another ~$9 for a side of (out of the box) pasta). There is no kids menu, they can sell you a "kids pasta" which is sauce and out of the box noodles. Drinks: Everything is good. Dessert: Save a few bucks by getting Duck Donuts next door or TCBY across the parking lot.“
“We had to spend an overnight in Charlotte near the airport and we found the perfect place to eat. Big selection of Latin American food with excellent seafood choices. The staff was very pleasant, the calamari were fresh and the steak perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the yucca and maduro plantains.“
“I went with a group tonight. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. I had hanger steak which if you are lucky you will find in a grocery store but most likely you will not. It is a tender piece that is quite delicious. They had a nice light sauce with it. I shared brussel sprouts with a friend. They were roasted and had a crunchy flavorful topping. Roosters always delivers in my experience consistently excellent food. I ordered for takeout a velvet cake with chocolate mousse. It was yummy. It looked besutiful. How can you lose with sugar and chocolate? We had a great experience and will be back!“
“Highly recommend this place! The food was so delicious and it's presentation was beautiful! Awesome atmosphere and music, perfect for an intimate dinner or chilling with friends. Bathrooms are very clean, roomy, and loved the scented candle! Easy to find parking too! Our server Greg was exceptional, very attentive!“
“We stopped by Catalina for happy hour today and I have to say that Catalina is comfortable, beautiful, spotless and the food is good. Thomas, the bartender, was the star of our personal celebration. We sat at the large circular bar which is well stocked and reasonably priced. We tried several of the happy hour small plates (all under $10 and very tasty), and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails while Thomas furthered our education about bourbons, whiskeys and ryes. Highly recommend!“
“Hailey was great she was our waiter knew the menu, gave great convo but that food was soooo soooo good we had the b-real burger and the big jack burger and they were amazing that sauce was to die for then we also order the redneck nachos and the cheeseburger Biggs man everything on this menu was amazing we came all the way from Atlanta and was not disappointed we will be back“
“Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac and never feel safe going out to eat. Like ever! This place is the real deal. They understand the disease restrictions and take all the precautions just like the owner listed on their website. I appreciate the variety. Normally, when I get a " GF menu," it's 3 or 4 items, and many times are salad like options. The rest of my family enjoyed their food as well. Yahni (I know I'm spelling her name wrong, and I'm so sorry) was wonderful. It's great to still be able to find good restaurants with quality service. Thank you, Burtons!!“
“I was looking for a restaurant for my wife and I for our anniversary. I always wanted to eat here when I lived in Plaza but finally remembered to come since it's a special occasion. Our serve was Dylan and he didn't disappoint with service and recommendations. Ambiance was very Christmas-like and personal especially since it was the holiday's, which felt very private and personal. For starters, I had the escargot and my wife had the Apply Begger's Purse. I was a little surprised with the Gorgonzola taste since I was used to copious amounts of traditional garlic with the dish, but it was surprisingly tasty. The purse was also a good mixture of sweet and savory.I tend to be an adventurous eater and he recommended the ostrich since it was the special for the weekend while my wife had also had the special which was halibut. The Ostrich wasn't very gamy at all the was a mixture of beef and duck tase which took me for a pleasant surprise and the Halibut was cooked perfectly and wasn't very dry.For desert we tried their Flourless Molten Lava Trifle and it was he right amount of sweet.Overall, it was an amazing experience will highly recommend for any special occasion or just date night. Will be back for sure!“
