We were in Hickory Tavern on Sunday March 10 around 730pm. We ordered drinks then we placed our order for dinner which consisted of I had a salad and my boyfriend had the power bowl with blackened tuna. When our meal was served we opened our rolled silverware to find dried food on our forks. We were immediately disgusted and lost our appetite. Met a friend out there because we were trying to find a middle ground between locations. I thought of this place because they used to have the best oysters (which I found out they no longer serve when I got there) so I was disappointed and the appetizers did not boost the morale smh. I ordered the pow pow shrimp which is basically a much greasier congealed version of bang bang shrimp from more reputable restaurants. My friend had the spinach dip which was HORRIBLE. We were told to seat ourselves. A couple came in after us, were seated, their order taken and served before us. Our server seemed more interested in wrap utensils. This was our second visit and we won't be in a hurry to return. Our first visit, the service was great and the food was very good..
