Visiting NC and had to get some bbq! Highly recommend Midwood - meats were absolutely perfectly executed. Had burnt ends and ribs. Coleslaw was full of flavor. The mustard based bbq sauce was the clear winner here. Recommend the wings and get them "crispy"! Parking was challenging for a Friday. Service was amazing, and they had local breweries on draft.
On a business trip to North Carolina, I stopped by this place as it was recommended to me by one of the locals. I walked in and the place smelled amazing. I sat down and my waitress took good care of me from start to finish. I ordered some ribs and some chicken, some sweet potato fries, and some mac and cheese. Nico, was first class to greet me and take care of my order! This is a excellent location if you're at Freedom Park it's only about 5minutes away from the park. They give generous size portions for when you're hungry the most. Definitely have missed coming to this location!
