“I have travelled to Charlotte twice in the last 2 years for work, and I always make a point to stop here to eat. Everything I've had has been amazing, drinks and food included. Potatoes au gratin are phenomenal, short ribs are delicious. It's dark inside, but otherwise fun with lots of seating and 2 floors. Would 10/10 recommend!“
“We had a good time at Leah & Louise, with excellent service from Aja (sorry if I spelled your name wrong.) we loved the cornmeal brioche, a revelation, and the oxtail was very good too. The mussels were tasty but the vinegar was a bit strong for delicate mussels in my opinion. I especially enjoyed a mocktail they made for me with the spiced hibiscus syrup.“
“I went with a group tonight. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. I had hanger steak which if you are lucky you will find in a grocery store but most likely you will not. It is a tender piece that is quite delicious. They had a nice light sauce with it. I shared brussel sprouts with a friend. They were roasted and had a crunchy flavorful topping. Roosters always delivers in my experience consistently excellent food. I ordered for takeout a velvet cake with chocolate mousse. It was yummy. It looked besutiful. How can you lose with sugar and chocolate? We had a great experience and will be back!“
“Great local restaurant and consistently one of our favorites! Diverse menu with multiple healthy options and things that can modified as needed. Superior quality of all food items coupled with exceptional service - all very consistent!!! We had the crab cakes, side of collard greens, salmon on lentils/kale, and a side of roasted butternut squash with brussel sprouts - each dish perfectly cooked, excellent flavors.“
“Dietary restrictions: We had a few people with food allergies and they were taken care of with no problems.I am very pleased with the overall service provided at this restaurant.Parking: Valet parking, they provided excellent service.Kid-friendliness: The waitresses was very accommodating to the kids.“
“By far one of the best food experiences I've had in Charlotte to date. From the staff, to the ambiance, to the food...everything about the McNinch house had class.I made an early evening dinner reservation and chose to do the Chef's tasting with wine pairing. My server was Terrell Johnson who is also the lead Somm. I loved that he gave a little history about the house prior to diving into the menus. He listened to all our preferences and paired our wines perfectly to every single course. His knowledge is so vast and his service was impeccable!!!The stars of the show (wine/food) for me were the following:Chenin Blanc from IndiaPinot Noir from South AfricaReising from Germany (dessert)Artichoke and Leek soupPork cheeksRosemary & Dijon crusted rack of New Zealand lamb“
“We want to thank Walter Penilla and the Supperland staff for being very accommodating for my wife and I. Supperland Brunch is great. Excellent food choices and great service all around. Our waiter Zach was excellent and took care of us above and beyond. Would definitely recommend friends and family to go to Supperland for the excellent brunch.“
“If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The food was fantastic. It a sexy spot! Great for a first date or to spice up an old relationship. They even have board/card games for groups. The drinks were spot on! They can make it all... Can't wait to go back...They serve dinner as well. Best fried chicken I've had since moving to NC.“
“McKoy's just made our night after missing a connecting flight home out of CLT. It was on a list of restaurants that our hotel gave us. The hotel needs to put an asterisk next to it. The wings, triple threat sandwich, loaded potato and greens were LIGHTS OUT. AWESOME service and very reasonably priced as well. This place doesn't need to change a thing. Just go.“
“Yesterday, which was Sunday April, the seventh I was seated onthe outside where I wanted to be seated, waited on the server for about 10 minutes. Then The server showed up to take my order ,Wait a minute, wait till my food in my drink. I was finished with my food. I needed some more drink. I wasn't check on to see if I needed anything elseSo she came out. And said I'll be right back. I got my check quicker. Than I got my service. Wanted to order more food but didn't because I became upset., this wasn't my first choice but wanted to try it out, she made me feel like I ,made a mistake“
“Consistently good. I usually get dinner to go. Packaged well, order is always correct and still piping hot by the time I get home. Service is friendly and fast. Never had a bad meal here.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat parking lot. Easy in and out.“
“Wow! The hype was real! I had to check out this place before they shut down on Sunday. The Ma Duke's plate w/catfish was delicious! Some of the best fish ever! Bubba chucks were awesome... light and fluffy. The stewed greens tasted great although a lil' too much sauce. The field pea slaw was like regular slaw. Jimmy sauce was tasty! Nice atmosphere eating at their bar. Very glad I was able to experience Jimmy Pearls. Best wishes to these guys in their next endeavor!!!“
“The flying biscuit was overall a great place. I had the stuffed French toast. I was very good. The grits and eggs was good also. The chicken sausage was a little hard, but I'm not sure if it was supposed to be like that. I was seated outside, I never actually went inside. I didn't really like the table and chair sit up outside. I was by the curb, the tables seem like that were a few seconds away from falling apart. But I liked the server and atmosphere was nice.“
“Eight of us had the best time at SupperClub! The Duck Pin bowling was a fun way to start the evening, with drinks and apps. Our dining experience was also great, starting off with the yummy pimento cheese app. Our waiters, Sergio and Frank, were very attentive to our needs. Even Chef Nolan came by to check on us a couple of times throughout our meal, which was extra special! Everything we ate, mushrooms, cauliflower, broccolini, chicken flatbread, fried chicken thighs, duck special, crab salad special, and the pasta bolognese, was delicious! Chocolate cake, cheesecake, and the fruit tart were also yummy! We will definitely be back! Hats off to Chef Nolan and his staff!“
“I love the mission. The food was good. Cocktails could be better. I'm fine with the service since people are learning how to wait tables; just temper your expectations. The crab and spinach dip, fried green tomatoes and veggie plates were delicious. I personally didn't enjoy the underlying flavor of the fried shrimp or fried oysters.Absolutely support the 501c3 and am glad they exist in our town, and I'll be back. But I won't order mixed drinks again and I'll be more mindful for the food I order.“
“I visited my cousin and her mom in Charlotte early December 2023. I took the first flight from Cleveland. Once there I was ready for some good food! My cousin said she had the perfect place - Circle G. I was thrilled to eat at a local establishment. I find those are the best. Upon entering, the patrons as well as the staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean and very inviting. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a western omelette with links and toast. My cousin order biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon. My aunt order scrambled eggs, waffles too with fresh whipped cream / strawberries and bacon. The food took no time. It was hot, fresh and delicious! We all agreed that our food was perfectly cooked. We took our time eating and enjoying ourselves. The waitress was very pleasant. She never rushed us and allowed us to talk and again, enjoy our food. I can’t wait for the next time I visit because I’ll be there straight from the airport. My only regret, I accidentally erased my pictures!“
“Wow. That was amazing. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I had the pulled pork, Mac and cheese and collards. Can't wait to go back next time I'm down this way. And yes, I'm the guy that found your employee's keys!“
“I've never had a bad meal at the Flying Biscuit. We normally go to the Park Rd location but came to this location for the first time. Where there would normally be a long wait on the weekends, we got in right away because we were willing to sit at the bar. The food was prepared quickly but was still fresh and hot. I love that they offer so many non-pork options. In fact, besides bacon, they don't serve potk but they offer turkey bacon, chicken sausage and this time I tried chicken chorizo. Their grits are always creamy, the biscuits are always fluffy. I often have their biscuits and gravy because it's made with chicken sausage and its amazing and you can't find that anywhere else but the grits bowl with chicken chorizo was amazing and I'll have that again as well. You just can't go wrong.I only gave 4 stars for service because our server was nice but it was hard to get her attention and ultimately it took awhile for us to get our bill.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for non pork esters“
“My first impression was "This is my kind of place"! The front staff were polite and attentive. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, so we had a seat in the bar. If you're a bourbon enthusiast, this is a great watering hole! Brittany, the bartender, makes a fantastic Old Fashioned! We were seated soon after and enjoyed our brunch fare. The truffle deviled eggs were DEVINE! We both had eggs Benedict. I had mine with crab, and my friend had the traditional. Everything was outstanding! From beginning to end. We will definitely be returning. 10/10“
“Great service.. great food.. we got the combo x2. The turkey is better than the chicken. Both good but turkey was just juicier. Ribs had that competition "bite-pull". Brisket was soft and flavorful. Arnold Palmer was perfect. We had a great lunch-date experience. Cheese biscuits were great. Definitely got an extra basket to go.“
“This food truck was at The Armored Cow on a Saturday night. I cannot emphasize enough how truly excellent everything was!! We had the flounder fish and chips which was incredibly fresh, crisp, and flavorful, along with the grilled salmon sandwich on a brioche roll, with a couple biscuits on the side. The salmon was perfection and those biscuits were little miracles of crispy exterior with a tender moist crumb inside. We ate like kings and frankly made a spectacle of ourselves yumming and moaning with pleasure over each bite. If you see this food truck, you will forever regret not stopping by and enjoying the hospitality of the owners and their gorgeous food offerings.“
“I had a great time! We had a company event, with Dowling's, food and drinks. The food was good, Buffalo chicken pizza was better than expected. The bowling lanes were small, but to have them in that environment is a plus.My server was pleasant, but it did take about 30minutes to get service when we switched to outside after our bowling games ended. All in all, I would recommend, and I plan on going back.“
“The owner was working and provided exceptional service. Brought napkins and silverware to the table when it wasn't expected as well as providing a free Arnold palmer. Everything about the experience was genuine. Will be back very soon!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp“
“I must say this food is delicious I definitely enjoyed dining here BUT that strawberry crunch cake ,Lemon cake ,Chocolate cake and red velvet cake is out of this world ? I've never had anything like it before. Be sure to go check them and DON'T forget dessert.“
“Never been here before and it was the best. Tried 4 different kinds and loved them all. The potatoes soup was also very good. I will definitely go back. The ladies working there in front were also very kind and informative. Love the little cookies also. Visited 3/4/23?Vegetarian options: Mostly salads“
“A fairly good experience. My eating companion really enjoyed her salmon plate. Although she was hoping based on the title of the restaurant it would have more fish options. My gnocchi was, so so, it was very flavorful and my first time trying gnocchi. This is located in a hotel. Although many restaurants in this area are. The prices were fair about $35 per person with water to drink. The ambiance was nice. It felt safe. Side note, the bathrooms require a key. The servers were competent without being pushy or hovering. This was a good experience. I recommend!“
“i LOVE this place. the workers are SOOO sweet!!! the girl with the colored hair had a great attitude towards the group i was with. she helped with all our questions on the menu and overall had a great personality. we will definitely be coming back to this location!!!!“
“To say this is my go to place when I'm in Charlotte is an understatement! I freaking love the atmosphere and the vibes. The food and drinks are phenomenal. But the service is on another level!!! I only go to this location because Grant, Sky, and her oh so adorable roommate are employed here! Each and every time I come in town they make me and my guest "usually a party of 5 or more" LOL feel like absolute family! I'm not kidding, I don't live in CLT anymore due to an out of town work assignment, but you can bet your bottom dollar that when I do come in town, they are on the list of people to see. I really appreciate how attentive, friendly, and most of all professional they are!!! They are an all around AWESOME crew! Thanks Grant, and Sky for always making me feel welcomed and valued! Customer for LYFE!“
“Second time coming here and the food was amazing! The honey hot chicken sandwich was delicious and filling. You get a big piece of meat so I could barely finish 1/2. I also got the shrimp and chicken Alfredo. That was super delicious as well! The portion was huge so you definitely get your moneys worth and can share it. Service was nice, the owner is super cool. The food was 100/10. Yall definitely need to go!“
“Showmars is a great spot with super fresh ingredients and fast, friendly service. They have fresh salads, juicy grilled chicken, THE BEST tzatziki sauce, gyro, pitas, cheeseburgers, fried chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, the list goes on. You'll get a lot for your dollar as their portion sizes are pretty substantial! They are "Greek Southern" in their approach to food. They offer a casual order-at-the-counter-and-grab-a-number style dining experience which makes it perfect for a quick lunch or dinner with a group. The staff come around and make sure your drinks are refilled. Showmars is our go-to spot and I think if you give it a try, you'll agree!“
“Stepping from the Wells Fargo into Mimosa is like stepping into another world. A refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the corporate world. The lunch prices are very good considering what you get. In my case, the Wagyu skirt steak for a treat. It was perfect with surprise spice so don't dig in with an empty glass. For a late afternoon lunch, service was not great. I run thirsty and usually have two glasses of tasty beverages and need refills.Everyone was great until my plate landed on the table then no one checked in on me.They were quite indignant when I got up and went to the bar to ask for refills. After that, they brought me a pitcher of water. I kicked back until the Valentine's reservations needed the table.“
“Was visiting from out of town and ran across this restaurant. Went through the drive thru and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food, taste, and quality. Ordered the flounder and shrimp and also the classic chicken pita (not pictured). Highly recommend.“
“The bartender brian, is the most laid back person ever. Maybe alittle reserved but if you get the chance to get into a conversation with him, hes a pleasure to talk too. I appreciated everything about his conversation and service! Will be back again.“
“I ordered a half chicken without any sauce on it to see how it tasted by itself. This place has really good, deep, smokey flavored chicken. They put grill marks on it right before serving it, and it gives the perfect texture pop you're looking for with crunchy skin. The seasoning was precisely balanced and allowed for the true taste of the chicken to come through. The meat simply fell off the bones, and I didn't have to worry about any hassle getting to any of the meat.I also ordered the fried okra, Cole slaw, and a side salad. The okra was fantastic!! Unfortunately, the Cole slaw was too bland for me and had too much sauce. It needed to be thinned out with some sweet white vinegar or a little sugar and white vinegar. It was just bland and too rich from the mayo. The sald itself was good once I dumped the cheese from it. The lettuce leaves were crisp. There was only a small bit of wilted leaves in the mix. They rotate the salad enough so you know you're getting fresh. The floors were spotless, but there was a but of stickiness to them when you walked, so you hear your foot peel off the floor. They could use a good deep clean, but that's just oil buildup after years of fried foods. The tables were neat and cleaned as well. They were only ever so lightly dusted with oil.The young lady at the register was kind and smiled, which is nice to have when you're ordering. The manager was involved and made sure everything was good.Overall, it was a pleasurable experience, and if you're looking for some smoked chicken for a reasonable price, this is a good place. I spent under $20 and had three sides with the half chicken. Drinks are too expensive anywhere anymore. Water is fine by me.“
“Ordered from this truck a few times when they're in my area. Everything I've gotten has been on point. Remoulade sauce on the shrimp po boy is really good. Great service, very friendly. Prices are good as food trucks go. Thank you!“
“We arrived at the restaurant a little later in the evening but were welcomed in with open arms. The atmosphere was exquisite and very relaxing which we needed and enjoyed. The food was excellent! We will definitely be returning to this lovely place.“
“They were amazing! They truly made my wedding dream come true. Ruben was great to work with and was always happy to accommodate any of my requests. They had everything set out beautifully and the food was phenomenal! I completely recommend them to anyone who is having a large wedding looking as all their food and staff are above and beyond what anyone would ask for in catering for their big day. You won’t regret choosing them and their prices (unlike everyone else I looked at before picking them) will NOT break the bank.“
“This Shomars location is excellent. The food is always hot and fresh. The establishment stays clean including the bathrooms. It's a quiet environment. It doesn't matter what time you go there is always tables available and rarely a line. That's the best part. If you love peace along with quality food and friendly staff this is definitely for you. I want to give a big shout out to Payton, Sebastian and the chefs for giving top-notch service every time I eat here. There is another young Queen who takes my order sometimes that I would like to acknowledge as well. I always do my best to leave a big tip because not only do these Queens and King deserve it but I know it's not always easy working in fast food. Please go and support. To me, this is the best location in Charlotte.“
“Open early, great prices and awesome staff.Just found my new local breakfast spot while staying in downtown Charlotte. And just want to mention that not only was the staff attractive, they were incredibly friendly and moved at a steady pace. The food came out quick, hot and absolutely delicious and upon finishing the fine cuisine it made me want to yell, booomshakalaka.“
“Stayed at this hotel for a convention with a friend. The restaurant was BUSY all weekend but the employees were fantastic. Brittany was awesome!!! Remembered us from Friday to Saturday and remembered our drink orders! Always had a smile on her face and service was prompt! The Edgewater burger was great. The lights were a little bright for our liking but that is the only negative we experienced.“
“We had a great brunch at Haberdish. The biscuits and gravy, grits, and chicken and waffles hit the spot. It is the exact place you crave when you want a hearty brunch. The gin and juice was simple, yet refreshing. The patio was a great way to soak up the nice weather and atmosphere of Noda.“
